We lift up this unspoken request before the throne of grace, knowing that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Though the details are hidden from us, they are fully known to our Heavenly Father, who sees the heart and understands every burden, fear, and longing.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through the blood of Your Son that we have boldness to enter Your presence (Hebrews 10:19). We acknowledge that without Jesus, we have no access to You, no hope of salvation, and no promise of eternal life. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might be reconciled to You.
Lord, we ask that You would move in power in this situation. If there is sin that needs to be confessed, reveal it and grant repentance. If there is fear, replace it with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). If there is confusion, bring clarity and wisdom from Your Word (James 1:5). If there is pain, pour out Your healing balm and comfort (Psalm 147:3). Whatever the need may be, we trust that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
We rebuke any spirit of despair, doubt, or unbelief that may be at work in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we refuse to be moved by what we see or feel. Our faith is in You alone.
We pray for strength to endure, patience to wait on Your timing, and faith to believe that You are at work even when we cannot see it. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to walk in obedience to Your Word. May we be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry (James 1:19), and may our lives be a reflection of Your love and holiness.
Lord, we also pray for protection over this individual. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and surround them with Your angels (Psalm 91:11). Deliver them from every temptation and snare of the enemy, and keep them steadfast in the faith.
We trust You, Lord, to move in this situation according to Your will. May Your name be glorified, and may Your kingdom come in this life as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
