We lift this unspoken burden before the Lord, knowing that the Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We acknowledge that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
Lord, we stand firm in Your truth, girding our loins with the belt of truth, putting on the breastplate of righteousness, and as shoes for our feet, the readiness given by the gospel of peace. We take up the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one, and the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word (Ephesians 6:14-17). We pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, keeping alert with all perseverance (Ephesians 6:18).
We rebuke every assignment of the enemy in Jesus' name. We break every chain, every stronghold, and every lie that has been spoken over Your child. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their heart, and their spirit. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16). We pray that they would be rooted and grounded in love, and that they would have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that they would be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let their requests be made known to You (Philippians 4:6). We ask that You would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of their heart may be enlightened, that they may know what is the hope to which You have called them, what are the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18).
Father, we thank You that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We pray that You would surround Your child with Your angels, that they may encamp around them and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). We declare that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them (Psalm 34:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
