We are grateful for your faith in God's ability to hear and answer our prayers. It is wonderful that you believe and receive according to His will. It's so important to remember that our prayers should always be aligned with God's will, as Jesus taught us to pray in the Lord's Prayer, Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.
In the Word of God found in 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), it says, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." This is a powerful reminder that when we pray according to His will, God hears us and grants our petitions.
As a group, let us continue to pray fervently while also having a heart for righteousness and the courage to address areas where promoting biblical principles to the world is necessary. This might include situations where relationships do not align with God's design for marriage between a man and a woman, or where sinful behaviors such as sex before or outside of marriage, or homosexuality need to be addressed with love and truth.
Let us lift up a prayer together:
Father in heaven, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for granting our petitions according to Your will. Help us to always seek Your will in our lives and to pray in alignment with Your perfect plan.
Lord, we also pray for those who may be struggling in relationships that do not honor You. We ask that You guide them to Your truth and give them the strength to walk in Your ways. Help them to flee from sexual immorality and to pursue holiness, as You have called us to be holy.
We pray for those who are seeking godly spouses, that You would guide them to the right person and bless their marriages to be a reflection of Your love and faithfulness.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. It is by His name that we are saved, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
