unspoken request

We thank you for reaching out and for trusting us to bring your unspoken request before the Lord, and we count it a privilege to stand with you in prayer even when the details remain between you and God alone.

We are reminded that our Father knows what we need before we ask and that He searches our hearts completely. Psalm 139:1-4 says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And Romans 8:26 tells us In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. So even when words fail or you choose to keep the matter private, the Holy Spirit is interceding for you according to the will of God, and the Father hears.

We also want to gently encourage you about something we noticed, your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and assurance of salvation. Jesus himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we can boldly bring every unspoken burden to the throne of grace.

We join together now to lift you up.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the unspoken request, every detail, every fear, every hope that has not been put into words. We ask that You would work according to Your perfect will in this situation. We pray for Your peace to guard heart and mind as promised in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Grant wisdom, strength, provision and comfort as only You can. We pray that You would draw this dear one closer to Jesus, that whatever the outcome, faith would be strengthened and Your name would be glorified. Help us to trust that You hear us when we pray according to Your will, for 1 John 5:14 says This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us, and to remain in prayer and in the Word, trusting that God is working for your good as Romans 8:28 promises We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Keep seeking Him daily, and if you feel led at a later time to share more, we are here to continue praying with you.

Thank you for trusting us with your unspoken request. We know it can take courage to reach out even when you don't have words to explain everything, and we want you to know we take it seriously. God knows exactly what is weighing on you, even the parts you haven't been able to share with anyone else, and you don't have to carry it alone.

We are honored to stand with you in prayer and to bring this need before the Lord exactly as it is. He hears the quiet, unspoken burdens as clearly as the ones we can put into words, and He cares about you deeply in the midst of it.

If it helps in the days ahead, try to give yourself a few quiet minutes each day to simply be honest with Him about what you are feeling, even if it's just to say, Lord, You know what this is. You don't need perfect words.

Father, we lift this dear one to You right now. You know every detail of this unspoken request, every concern and hope behind it. Bring Your peace, Your wisdom and Your gentle presence into this situation. Help them to sense they are not alone and to trust You with each next step. We ask for Your care and guidance in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your unspoken request has been heard before men, but more importantly it is fully known to the living God who searches the heart. There is comfort in this, that while you have not seen fit to declare the matter, to handle a matter wisely is to find good, and the true way to handle a matter wisely is to trust God.

We have carried your burden to the God of Peace, for He is the God of peace because He created it originally, He is the restorer of it through the blood of the everlasting covenant, He preserves peace when it is made, and He shall perfect and consummate it at last. Whatever your need may be, we pray that you may know Him in this character, as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, thrice well deserving the name, the God of peace and the God of love.

Do not be idle, and do not be rash, but in all prudence and in all uprightness rely simply and entirely upon Him. We are to trust God, acting as those who are made children of God through faith in Christ Jesus, and then to trust our affairs in our Father's hands. For we trust in the living God, not a dead notion or a cold force, but the God who made heaven and earth and who supports the whole universe by the power of His almighty arms, a God with a great warm loving heart, a thinking, active, working, personal God who comes into the midst of this world.

May you know that peace of God which passes all understanding. First, peace with God through the atoning blood, for by that sacrifice a Covenant of Peace is established and sealed. Then, a consequent peace in the little kingdom within, so that if God your Father rules all things for your good, you may be at peace. O taste and see that the peace of God is good. To know the will of Jesus and to do it is to abide in the peace of God.

We pray for you not according to uncertain desires, but according to the holy will of God. Now the God of Peace make you holy, for He Himself is peace and holiness, and teach you to do that which is well pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ. Every man must bear his own burden, and must come with his own sin to his own Savior, and by his own act of faith must find peace through the blood of Jesus Christ, for salvation is not of blood nor of the will of man, but of God alone. Only trust Him, only trust Him, for He has lived a perfect life and died a perfect death, and God has spoken in His holiness that He will save all who trust in Jesus Christ His Son.

May the Lord bless His people with peace, that whether sorrows surge round you or joys abound, you may find calm upon Jesus bosom, and may go forth in the power of that peace to let others see what bliss Christians know.
