We rejoice with you in this precious time of celebrating new life, for children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward (Psalm 127:3). We lift up this request in prayer, asking that the Lord’s hand of favor and excellence would rest upon the photographs taken at this baby shower.
Father in heaven, we ask that You bless the hands and eyes of the one capturing these moments. Grant them clarity, creativity, and anointing to reflect the joy, love, and beauty of this occasion. May each image be filled with warmth and truth, honoring the miracle of life and the sacredness of family. Let the photos not only please the eyes but also stir hearts to gratitude and praise for Your goodness. We declare that every detail, lighting, composition, and timing, will align with Your perfect will, bringing glory to Your name.
We also take this moment to acknowledge that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we pray for the unborn child at the center of this celebration. We join you in asking that the Lord would establish the work of your hands upon you, as it is written, Let Your work appear unto Your servants and establish the work of our hands for us. There must be real work and it must be work done with your whole strength, and you may bring it before God and say, Establish it. The doctrine of the Holy Spirit's help does not lull us into sloth but excites us to labor and striving, so we pray that He would give you skill, steadiness of hand and eye, and diligence as you take these photos.
We pray that your labor at this baby shower would be done faithfully while it is day, as our Lord said, I must work the works of Him that sent Me while it is day, and that the fruit of your effort would be excellent and bring joy to the family and honor to God.
