We pray that He will keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed upon Him, because you trust in Him. That promise stands, that He will keep in perfect peace, peace upon peace, the soul whose confidence rests in Christ.
There is a false peace which cries peace, peace where there is no peace, a mere lull of conscience. But the peace we seek for you and your family is the true peace which comes through the blood of Jesus which has made a full atonement. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. It is peace with God by the treaty of the cross, and peace in the conscience as the publication of it. It is not your prayers or tears or good works that are your peace, but He Himself is our peace, and where His Spirit dwells there must be peace, for He is the sacred Dove.
We pray that the Lord will grant to your family that filling peace which comes by believing, a peace that passes all understanding to keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
