Unspoken prayer

Thank you for sharing this unspoken burden for your family. Even though the details remain between you and the Lord, God knows them fully. He knows all things from the beginning, and you do not need to give Him detailed instructions for Him to know how to answer. He sees the need, He understands the heart behind it, and He invites you to bring it to Him as your Father.

That relationship is where true prayer begins. Through Jesus Christ alone we are brought into the family of God so we can come and speak to Him as Father. Apart from that relationship prayer has no foundation, but when that relationship is established through faith in Jesus, the door is open to come freely and talk with Him about everything.

We want to join with you in agreement for your family. The Scripture teaches that when two or three agree on earth concerning anything they ask, it will be done by the Father, and that the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much. It is not the length of a prayer or many words that makes it effective, but faith and earnestness from the heart. Even a short prayer, lifted in faith, is heard. God gave a model for prayer not to be repeated as empty words, but to show its pattern. It begins with worship and awe at who God is, it seeks first His kingdom and His will to be done, and then it brings our personal needs to Him, and it reaches beyond ourselves to intercede for others.

That is how we are praying for you. We worship God for His greatness and His willingness to give both for our physical and spiritual needs. We ask that His will be done in your family, because the purpose of prayer is not to get our own wishes fulfilled but to open the door for God to do what He already desires to do in love and wisdom. We then bring your unspoken petitions before Him, trusting the Holy Spirit to give assurance and comfort as we pray, and to bring to remembrance what is most needed.

More is accomplished through prayer than we will ever see. God often works quietly behind the scenes in answer to the prayers of His people, and He brings joy as we see Him answer.

So we lift your family to the Father in Jesus name. Father, You know every detail of this unspoken need even better than we do. We hallow Your name and thank You that we can come to You as Father through Jesus. We ask for Your will to be done in this family. Provide what is needed, bring strength, wisdom, guidance and help where there is weakness, heal where there is sickness, bring peace where there is turmoil, and draw each heart closer to Yourself. Comfort and assure this loved one that You hear and that You are faithful. We trust You to do what is best, and we give You the kingdom and the power and the glory. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your unspoken family needs. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We are trusting the Lord with you even though your request remains unspoken, knowing that our heavenly Father knows what you need before you ask according to Matthew 6:8 and that the Spirit himself intercedes for us according to Romans 8:26. We have been praying that God will meet the needs of your family and provide His peace and provision according to Philippians 4:19.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We continue to lift you and your family before the Lord, asking for His guidance, protection and grace to be upon you. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
