It is in Christ alone that we are adopted into the family of God, and being made sons and daughters by grace, we may cry, Abba, Father, and be sure that He will hear.
Remember how the Lord dealt with Noah, entering into covenant to preserve him and his house, and how Noah and his wife and his sons and their wives entered into the ark and were saved. So still the Lord delights to show mercy to households that seek Him. Let family prayer be maintained, let the unity of the Spirit be kept in the bond of peace within your walls, for a house divided cannot stand, but where Christ is in the midst, there is life and love and holy unity.

Your unspoken request for your family has been heard and we bring it before God with you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.
He knows what you have not spoken. He created us when we were not, and made all things for our sake, heaven and sea and air and all that is in them. He breathed into us a living soul, planted a garden, gave a help meet, set us over the creatures and crowned us with glory and honor. Even now He stretches out the heavens, kindles the sun, founds the earth, pours forth the sea and expands the air, and all things moved by His hand make provision for our life, not only for our need but for our dignity. Nothing in your family is hidden from Him, and no true need escapes His care.
We pray that He will honor your trust by meeting these needs according to His wisdom and mercy. As our heavenly Father feeds and clothes all, even when we fail, so we ask Him to provide for your household what is necessary for health and life, and more than that, to give spiritual strength, peace, and unity in Christ. We ask Him to help you honor Him not only with words but with works and deeds, seeking first the care of spiritual things, making provision for the body for health and not for wantonness, and spending your strength on what endures.
May He guard your family from the snares that weigh down the soul, keep you watchful in this life which is like a sleep, and rouse you to what is good and sober and merciful. May He teach you to be merciful as He is merciful, to help those in want as you are able, and to find in your own trials a deeper trust in His goodness.
