Thank you for trusting us with the unspoken needs of your family. Even though you have not shared the details, God knows them fully, and we are joining with you in prayer and agreeing together before the Father in the name of Jesus.
Scripture reminds us that the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much, and that when two or three agree on earth about anything they ask, the Father hears. We do not need a long or eloquent prayer to be heard. The prayers recorded in the Bible are often very short. What matters is not length or repetition, but faith and sincerity from the heart, often born out of deep need.
We are bringing your family before the Lord in that way. True prayer begins with God Himself. He places His desires on our hearts and invites us to respond, so that we are not trying to inform Him of something He does not know or to bend His will to ours, but to open the door for Him to do what He already desires to do according to His wisdom and love. For that reason we first worship Him for who He is, the Creator of heaven and earth, and we ask above all for His kingdom and His will to be done in your family, trusting that He will then care for every personal need.
Prayer has different expressions. There is worship in awe of God, there is petition where we bring our own needs, and there is intercession where we bring the needs of others before Him. Your request is an invitation to intercession, and we take that seriously, believing that more is accomplished through prayer than we will ever see on this side of heaven, and that God brings comfort and assurance to the heart as we pray by His Spirit.
We also remember that prayer rests on relationship. Through faith in Jesus Christ we are given the right to come to God as Father, and that relationship is what makes prayer meaningful and effective. If that relationship is yours, you can come with confidence. If you have not yet come to Him for mercy as a sinner trusting Christ alone for salvation, that is the first prayer He invites you to pray, and it opens the way to all the rest.
We may not know the specifics you carry, but the Holy Spirit does, and He helps us as we pray. We are asking the Father to meet each unspoken need in your family according to His perfect will, to give wisdom, strength, healing and provision where needed, to draw each heart closer to Jesus, and to bring a deep joy as you see His hand at work. We will continue to hold you up before Him, trusting Him to answer in the way that brings Him glory and brings lasting good to you and your loved ones.
