Unspoken needs

We are grateful you have brought your unspoken family needs before the Lord and that you have asked in the name of Jesus, for we know it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We join our faith with yours today and lift up every unspoken burden on your heart and every need within your family to the One who sees and knows all.

We are comforted by the promise in Matthew 6:8 that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him and by Romans 8:26 that the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered when words fail us. We also cling to Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And we hold fast to Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We pray together Father in heaven we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one and their entire family and every unspoken need they carry. You know the details that are too deep for words and you see each heart and each circumstance in this family. We ask that you pour out your provision and protection and healing and peace upon them. Let your perfect will be done in their lives and draw each family member closer to you and to one another. Guard their hearts with your peace that surpasses all understanding and strengthen their faith as they wait on you. Help them to continue casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you as taught in 1 Peter 5:7. We trust you to answer according to your perfect wisdom and love and timing and we thank you for hearing us even before we speak. In the name of Jesus we pray Amen.

We encourage you to continue to rest in His care and to trust Him daily with these unspoken matters, knowing He is faithful and He hears every prayer offered in Jesus name. Keep seeking Him and keep bringing your family before His throne, for He loves your family even more than you do and He desires to work all things together for good for those who love Him.

Thank you for bringing your family before the Lord even when the words feel hard to find. We understand there are times when needs feel too tender or tangled to explain, and choosing to lift them up anyway is itself an act of trust.

We want you to know we are carrying this with you. God knows each person in your family and each need you hold close, even the ones you left unspoken here. You do not have to have perfect words for Him to hear you or care for those you love.

If it would help in the days ahead, you might find a quiet moment each day to simply place your family in God's hands by name, even without details, and rest that He is at work in ways you cannot yet see. And if there is one trusted pastor, friend or family member you can let in even a little, sharing the burden with another can make it lighter.

Father, we lift this family to You right now. You know every need spoken and unspoken, every heart involved, every worry and hope. Bring Your peace into their home, give wisdom for next steps, and draw each one closer to You. We trust them to Your care in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We have carried your unspoken request before the Lord, who knows fully what lips have not declared. He who heard Hannah in her sorrow and Joseph in the dungeon and David when he was yet overlooked among his brethren, hears the sigh that cannot be uttered and sees the need that is not spoken. Nothing is hidden from Him, and no need of His people is forgotten by Him.

There is great comfort in this, that none of us can keep alive his own soul, but provision is made in Christ for every real need. In Him there is an infinite fullness treasured up, so that though needs press heavily and seem to multiply, the very thought of them need not crush us. All things are yours if you are Christ's, and He is the Author of salvation who is able to stoop to the lowest case and bind up the gaping wound.

We pray that you and your household may be kept in the appointed ways, upon the King's highway where the King's protection rests, and that you may be kept in all your ways by Him who gives His angels charge over His people. As He entered into covenant with Noah and preserved him and his family in the ark, so may He in grace preserve your family, drawing each one into that ark of safety which is Christ Jesus, for there is no other name by which we must be saved.

May the Lord grant that family prayer and private prayer be maintained with diligence, and that you may prove Him to be one who exalts the low tree and lifts up those that are cast down.

Let us pray together. O Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, Thou knowest the unspoken burden of this family. Thou seest what we cannot see and Thou understandest what we have not heard. We ask Thee to supply every need according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus, to keep this household in Thy ways, to lead any yet outside the ark to flee to Christ for refuge, and to build up those who believe in faith and holiness. Let Thy will be done in all that concerns them, and let them know Thy keeping and Thy peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour and hope. Amen.
