Good and Faithful Servant
I need prayer against an unscrupulous landlord. First off, the woman doesn't fix the water, and raises the rent even though we have had to boil the water before drinking for 2-3 years now. She posts fake late notices on our door when the rent has been paid for at least two weeks. We have fecal matter in the water plus E. coli. Since moving here, I've had kidney cancer, and 3 weeks ago underwent another surgery for a tumor on my right adrenal gland. So I've lost my left kidney and right adrenal gland. Don't have any more organs to spare now!
She sends out notices on just how unfair the city is and then raises the rent, but yet we have unsafe water to drink.
She knows our situation, of when we get paid, but yet I keep getting notices of late fees etc... Most of the time it is put on all doors, but the late notice I got yesterday was just on mine, and one other's door. We were not late and do not and should not have to pay late fees especially when what she's doing is illegal to begin with. Notice also threatened a "3 strikes you're out" which is false because the law says 3-4 times in one year not 3 times in an undetermined amount of time, as her fake warning stated. With that then if we're late, which we weren't this time, to her again another notice to her will be a second notice of which I don't count the first one because as stated we weren't late and don't owe nor should we owe her any late fees.
According to God, you are not to use usury, and late fees are the same as usury.
She in several of her notes she sends out to all of us threatens to shut down the whole place, but if she does she will have to pay each owner for their mobile home for we are a manufactured home/trailer not an actual house, money so fearing she is trying to get us out using what's called quiet eviction since if she can get us to move separately she won't have to pay $### for our trailer.
The law says if she closes down the whole lot she has to pay each owner of their own trailer money for each one and Knowing her she sure as heck doesn't want to do that, but do think she's trying to finagle her way around the law. She already did once when she raised the rent she was supposed to give a 90-day notice but only tried to give a 30-day notice, and had to retract that and give us the full 90 days.
Our issue with the water is not an isolated issue neither, for last winter, our local news agency interviewed me on it so it's well known around the area.
As stated, I have had a cancerous tumor on my left kidney which the whole kidney had to be removed because they couldn't get just part. I've also had my right adrenal gland removed just 3 weeks ago just before Thanksgiving. I don't know if it was cancerous or not yet, but will in a few days. If it's spread over from my left kidney then I will be having to do chemotherapy and am not able to work anyway. I have multiple prayers on here about me, my wife, and intimacy issues with my wife withholding from me as well and still need prayers for that as well.
She's Catholic and I'm Protestant and know from my end that wives are not to withhold from their husbands, but her being Catholic she may not know so I also pray that she knows this, or finds out. Would like it if she started to ask me about what I know about God and lean to my faith instead of hers, but as long as the truth begins to fulfill in her that's what I need.
As stated, pretty damned close to cheating but love her and don't want to but if she doesn't come around soon I will.
Anyhow, please pray that if God doesn't punish this landlord to at least protect us from her unscrupulous ways. And to pray my wife has a change of heart with me!
