We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this deeply troubling situation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we are grieved by the callousness, deceit, and lack of remorse displayed by those responsible for this life-threatening negligence. Your Word declares in Romans 13:10 that "love doesn’t harm a neighbor," yet here we see a blatant disregard for human life and dignity. This is not merely a legal or financial matter—it is a moral failure that demands repentance and restitution.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of greed, dishonesty, and hardness of heart that has taken root in these individuals. Your Word warns in Proverbs 11:1 that "a false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." To falsify reports and ignore clear evidence of harm is an abomination before You. We pray that You would shatter their resistance to truth and justice, softening their hearts to the suffering they have caused. Let conviction fall upon them like a heavy weight, leading them to repentance and right action.
We also lift up the one who has endured this injustice. Father, we ask that You would be a shield and defender for this individual, as You promise in Psalm 34:19: "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Heal the physical wounds, mend the emotional distress, and restore what has been lost. Provide wisdom and favor in navigating this situation, whether through legal channels, divine intervention, or both. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for divine justice to prevail. May those who have acted unscrupulously be held accountable—not out of vengeance, but so that righteousness may prevail. Your Word says in Proverbs 28:13, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." Lord, we ask that You would bring these individuals to a place of confession, remorse, and restitution. Let them not only apologize but also make amends for the harm they have caused.
Father, we also ask for protection over this individual’s heart and mind. The enemy seeks to sow bitterness, fear, and despair in the face of such injustice. But we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that You are their vindicator. Let them walk in forgiveness, even as they pursue justice, so that their own heart remains free from the poison of unforgiveness.
We stand on Your promise in Deuteronomy 32:35: "Vengeance is mine, and recompense." Lord, we trust that You see all and will act on behalf of the oppressed. Bring this situation to a resolution that honors You—one where truth is revealed, justice is served, and restoration is made. May those who have acted wickedly be brought to repentance, and may the one who has suffered find full recompense and healing.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
