We know the channel between us and the Father is the Son. Someone can't be saved otherwise. But for prayers...if an unsaved person prays, not necessarily for a bad thing, but maybe a prayer for mercy, they have a gravely ill loved one, or they need something desperately but don't have the money...
Please pray for me I am very lukewarm, sinful, idolatrous, unsaved, unforgiving, and in a deeply bad spot right now please pray in Jesus name that Jesus will help.
One thing I notice (and have too many times to count been on the receiving end of...) is that unsaved people, whereas the Golden Rule is to love your neighbor as yourself, with the unsaved it's different...with them, their "nature" is self-centeredness and as soon as you look at them, they go...
