Yet another accusation levied and dispelled through God's wisdom.

Just because a person isn't getting paid or earning top dollar, in their current situation, circumstance, or season doesn't mean that they are unproductive, or even unprosperous. Certainly God desires for His people to prosper; and indeed, His timing is perfect in that: but, there’s prosperity, and then there's filthy lucre.

Judas was paid handsomely, Egypt style, if you will. He even used his earnings to buy a piece of prime land, upon where he had planned to build his kingdom, once Jesus was off the scene. On the other hand, Jesus was busy being lied on, talked about behind his back, plotted against, and thrown out of the House/Temple. Relegated to sleeping on the streets; He was homeless. The authorities arrested Jesus, neither at his home, nor at his place of conventionnal employment, and certainly not at the Temple, where He could've been housed, what with its' many rooms and opulence. No, Jesus was awakened from His sleep and arrested outside, in a garden (a park setting), in the middle of the night.

So let's see, Judas was chosen, given place to, and paid (by the chief priests); but, Jesus was cast out, roamed about the streets with other homeless people (aka disciples); all of whom both the church and authorities dismissed, and referred to as renegades. By man's logic, both then and now, because he profited, Judas would be considered the prosperous, productive one. Hmmmm.

There's nothing more productive than for God to use one's righteous service to bring HIS HOLY WORD to pass. Righteous service does his neighbor no harm, neither does it mock or disregard his neighbor's plight:

Isaiah 53:3 He was despised and rejected—a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised, and we did not care.

We judge not by the outer cup, neither by current circumstances. We consider the heart of the matter which produces a greater outcome through the saving of souls, not just money in the bank.
Thank You Jesus for your righteous service.

AMEN

Just a little "TGIF" message. Have a great weekend!
