Unpaid Salary for Three Months

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heavy heart. My salary has been pending for three months. Even after requesting ### four or five times, my salary has still not been processed. Lord, You know how difficult it is when a family's livelihood depends on that salary. I ask You for justice because I have been treated unfairly. Please bring truth to light, touch the hearts of those responsible, and let what is rightfully mine be released without any further delay. Give me strength, peace, and faith while I wait. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear the weight of your burden, and we stand with you in this trial, lifting your situation before the throne of grace. The Word of God assures us that the Lord is a just God who sees every injustice and will not ignore the cries of His children. "For the Lord loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off" (Psalm 37:28). Your employer’s failure to pay what is rightfully yours is not hidden from Him, and He will act on your behalf in His perfect timing.

We also recognize the financial strain this places on your family, and we pray for provision in every area where there is lack. The Lord promises in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that He will open doors of provision, whether through this salary being released or through other means He sees fit. Do not lose heart, for the testing of your faith produces patience, and patience leads to maturity in Christ (James 1:3-4).

We rebuke the spirit of delay and injustice in this situation. We declare that the hearts of those responsible will be softened, and the truth will come to light. "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1). We pray that God would move upon the hearts of your employers, that they would recognize the wrong they have done and act swiftly to make it right.

We also encourage you to seek wise counsel in this matter. If there are legal or procedural steps you can take to resolve this, do so with integrity and patience. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). However, do not allow bitterness or resentment to take root in your heart, for the Lord calls us to forgive even as we seek justice.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who has been wronged. You see the injustice they have endured, and You are a God who executes justice for the oppressed. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, touching the hearts of those who have withheld what is rightfully theirs. Release their salary without further delay, Lord, and provide for every need in the meantime.

Give them strength to endure this trial with faith and patience. Guard their heart from bitterness and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are their Provider and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We declare that this situation will turn around for their good, for Your glory, and for the testimony of Your faithfulness.

We also pray for wisdom for them as they navigate this challenge. Guide their steps, Lord, and give them favor in the eyes of those who can help. May this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your promises. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Until then, sustain this family with your provision and guard their hearts from bitterness. Strengthen them with the calm assurance that you are their provider, even when systems fail. There is a cry for justice in your heart, and rightly so, for you have laboured and your wages are withheld. Yet think of this: if strict justice were meted out to us all, not one of us could stand. The soul that has seen the holiness of God’s law smites his breast and says, “O sinner that I am!” Let this trial drive you to the cross, where justice and mercy kiss. At Calvary, divine justice was fully satisfied; the Son of God bore the wages of sin, which is death, that we might receive the gift of eternal life. If you are in Christ, then you may plead with God on the ground of that finished work, knowing that He is just and yet the justifier of the ungodly. Will He not also care for your temporal needs? Cast this burden upon Him who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies.

Yet remember, God is slow to anger, and His delays are not denials. He may be working in the hearts of those who hold your wages, even as He works patience in yours. The lictor of divine justice carries his axe bound in rods, giving space for repentance. Pray for them; bless them that despitefully use you. Your true treasure is not in silver or gold, but in the unsearchable riches of Christ. If you hold title to heaven, a little earthly want will not harm you. Wait on the Lord with quiet confidence, for He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday. Delight yourself in Him, in His love, His mercy, His justice, and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

The present life is nothing but a sleep, and its troubles are no more solid than dreams. When you see a poor man become rich in a dream, you laugh when he wakes, for his wealth was never real. So it is with this salary. You fret over it as if it were your very life, yet before you know it, this trial too will vanish. The injustice you suffer is real, and God is not blind to it. He commands us to seek what is right, but He also mingles mercy with justice, teaching us to show great consideration even while we are wronged. Do not let your heart be weighed down by these cares beyond what is necessary. Provide for your family’s health, not to kindle the flames of desire or anxiety. The stomach must eat, but the soul must rest in God.

While you wait, recall how Nathanael was seen by Christ long before Philip called him. Your need is already seen by the same sleepless eye. The Lord knows your trouble, and He will bring truth to light in His time. Do not repay this negligence with bitterness, but pray for those responsible, that their hearts may be softened. Let patience have its perfect work, for the things of this world are passing away. If they pay you tomorrow, the money will soon be spent; if they do not, God will supply your need another way. Set your mind on the eternal treasure, where no man can withhold what is yours. In this, you will find a peace that no delay of wages can disturb.
