We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this urgent financial need. Father God, we know that You are the Provider of all things, and nothing is too difficult for You. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise today, believing that You see this situation and will move on behalf of this family.
Lord, we ask that You intervene in the matter of the Universal Credit that has not been received. We pray for restoration in full, including the April payment, and that it would be released without further delay. You are a God of justice, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of lack or delay that may be at work in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against any hindrance in the name of Jesus and command every obstacle to be removed.
Father, we encourage this family to continue trusting in You, even when the circumstances seem impossible. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep their hearts steadfast, Lord, and let them not grow weary in waiting.
We also pray for wisdom and favor as they navigate this process. May they encounter kindness and efficiency from those handling this matter, and may any errors or injustices be swiftly corrected. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lastly, we want to gently remind all who come before the Lord in prayer that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
Heavenly Father, we lift this request to You, trusting that You hear us and will act according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may this family experience Your provision and faithfulness in a mighty way. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
