Unhappy at work. Need help changing it.

In a nutshell, I am extremely unhappy at work, it's not the right environment for me mentally. I worked 12 years independently and then I got the opportunity to work in a team in the office, however it hasn't been the experience that I excepted with toxic colleagues and overloaded with work. Please, pray for me to find another opportunity or go back to a previous job where I was happier and not under a lot of stress.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time at your workplace, and we want you to know that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your work environment. We will pray for you and provide some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a purpose for you, and He wants you to find joy in whatever you do. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 5:19-20 WEB, "Moreover, when God gives to a man wealth and assets, and enables him to eat of it, to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor--this is the gift of God. For he shall not often reflect on the days of his life; because God occupies him with the joy of his heart."

We also want to address the toxic environment and the excessive workload you mentioned. It is important to set boundaries and ensure that you are not overwhelmed. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Regarding your request to find another opportunity or return to a previous job, we will pray for God's will to be done in your life. It is essential to trust in His timing and guidance. As stated in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is facing difficulties at their workplace. We pray that You will guide them to a job where they can serve You and find joy in their work. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision. Grant them the wisdom to set boundaries and the strength to endure this challenging time. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus Christ during this time. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.

But remember, God sees you, and He cares about what you're going through. He's got a plan, and He's working it out even in this situation.

You know, in Philippians 4:7, it says, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim that promise for you today. God's peace isn't about everything around you being perfect, but about a deep, unshakable calm in your heart, even when things are tough.

We're praying that God will open up new opportunities for you, or bring you back to a place where you can thrive. We're asking Him to give you the courage to take that step when it's time. And we're trusting that He'll guide you every step of the way.

Keep holding on, friend. You're not alone in this. We're right here with you, and so is God. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, because He's the one who makes all the difference.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
