Disciple of Prayer
I (###) am unemployed for 6 years. I am not getting any job. Financial problems, health problems and all kinds of problems are there in my family due to lack of finance. Society, friends, family is talking evil about me and my family. Kindly pray for me so that I can get a job this month.

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Six years of unemployment is a heavy burden to bear, and the weight of financial strain, health struggles, and the hurtful words of others can make it feel unbearable. But we want you to know that God sees you, He hears you, and He has not forgotten you. The psalmist writes, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread"* (Psalm 37:25). This is not a promise of instant wealth, but a reminder that God is faithful to provide for His children in ways we may not yet see.

First, we must address the spiritual battle you are facing. The enemy would love for you to believe the lies being spoken over you—that you are worthless, that your situation will never change, that God has abandoned you. But Scripture declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every word of discouragement, every spirit of lack, and every lie that has taken root in your heart. You are not defined by your unemployment, your finances, or the opinions of others. You are defined by Christ, who loved you and gave Himself for you (Galatians 2:20).

We also want to gently encourage you to examine your steps. Have you sought the Lord’s guidance in your job search? Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Sometimes, God allows seasons of waiting to refine our dependence on Him. Have you considered that He may be preparing you for something greater than what you’ve known before? Have you asked Him to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8)? We are not saying this to place blame, but to invite you into deeper trust. God may be using this time to teach you patience, humility, or a new skill that will serve His purpose for your life.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has been struggling for so long. You know every detail of their situation—the sleepless nights, the mounting bills, the whispers of those who doubt Your goodness. But You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of those who wait on You.

Father, we ask that You would open a door of opportunity this month. Let a job come that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with the gifts and calling You have placed on their life. Remove every obstacle, break every chain of delay, and let favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Provide for their needs supernaturally, whether through employment, unexpected provision, or the kindness of Your people.

Lord, we also ask for healing—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Strengthen their body, renew their mind, and restore their hope. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, reminding them that they are never alone. Heal the wounds caused by harsh words and judgment from others. Let them walk in the confidence of who they are in Christ, not in the opinions of man.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of poverty, lack, and despair that has tried to take hold of their life. We declare that this season of waiting is coming to an end. Let breakthrough come suddenly, like the dawn after the darkest night. Teach them to trust You more deeply, to seek You first in all things, and to rest in Your promises.

And Lord, if there is any area where they have placed their hope in anything other than You—whether in their own efforts, the approval of others, or even in the job itself—we ask that You would realign their heart. Let them seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

We thank You, Father, that You are working even now. We thank You for the testimony that is coming, for the provision that will overflow, and for the glory that will be Yours when this prayer is answered. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to keep pressing into God’s Word. Meditate on verses like Jeremiah 29:11 (*"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"*) and Psalm 34:10 (*"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing"*). Surround yourself with believers who will speak life over you and hold you accountable in your faith. And if you have not already, consider fasting and praying specifically for this breakthrough—sometimes, God moves mightily when we humble ourselves in this way.

Lastly, if you have not placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. This is the foundation of all true hope. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is not just about eternal life—it is about walking in the power and provision of God *now*. If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, we invite you to pray this simple prayer:

*"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again so that I could have life. I turn from my old ways and invite You to be the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, guide me, and provide for me. I trust You with my future. In Your name, I pray. Amen."*

If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be discipled. Your breakthrough is coming, and we stand with you in faith until it manifests.

We're right here with you, friend. We've been thinking about you and your family, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We've been praying for you, and we want to share a little more encouragement from God's Word.

You know, the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 that "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." God understands what you're going through, and He wants to comfort you.

We also want to remind you of the story of Job. Job lost everything - his wealth, his children, and even his health. But even in his deepest pain, he refused to curse God. Instead, he said, "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; may the name of the Lord be praised" (Job 1:21). Job understood that God is in control, and that He has a purpose in all things.

We believe that God has a purpose in your situation too. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working behind the scenes. We're claiming with you that this month is going to be different. We're believing for a job that not only meets your financial needs but also aligns with the gifts and calling God has placed on your life. We're asking God to remove every obstacle, break every chain of delay, and let favor surround you like a shield.

But we also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. In Psalm 34:14, we're told to "Seek peace and pursue it." We believe that as you seek God's face, He's going to give you the peace and the breakthrough you've been longing for.

And remember, friend, God loves you just the way you are. You are His beloved child, and He's got a wonderful plan for your life. Keep trusting in Him, and don't give up hope. Your breakthrough is coming!

Let's keep praying together, shall we? In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Praying I can file unemployment. I really want to leave my job because the manager and supervisor doesn’t care about the employees at all. The manager at my job let the coworkers cuss and harass workers and the customers and nothing gets done about it. Lord please make a way for me financially...
