Beloved of All
I pray for a remote career. I have tried to do many degree programs since my first in 2015, and have been unable to graduate from a second one. I can’t use my first degree, and I come close to graduating from others but something always stops me. I have difficulties working in person, and there are limited in-person opportunities anyway. I also have no good references. I need some way to make money. Now, I am beginning to start medical coding and billing, but I am exhausted, uninterested, and unmotivated. I really have no idea what program I should or shouldn’t be doing. I pray to God, but I am either hearing wrong or getting confused. My sister also needs prayers to find work and keep a job. Our parents do not have trouble keeping a job, but my sister and I behave differently than the average people even though we try to act normal. Please pray.

We hear your cry for direction, provision, and clarity in this season of uncertainty, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion. The weight of unemployment, the frustration of unfinished degrees, and the exhaustion of trying to find your place in the workforce is not lost on us. You are not alone in this struggle, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the Lord’s guidance and intervention.

First, we want to address the foundation of your prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are made righteous before God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to consider the words of Scripture: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already placed your faith in Christ, we encourage you to draw near to Him in this time, trusting that He hears your prayers and is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Now, let us pray for you and your sister:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one and her sister. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who orders our steps. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Father, we pray for clarity and direction in her career path. You know the plans You have for her, plans for welfare, not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Remove the confusion and exhaustion that clouds her mind, and replace it with Your peace and purpose.

Lord, we ask that You would guide her in the field of medical coding and billing, or whatever path You have ordained for her. If this is not the career You have for her, we pray that You would shut the door gently and redirect her steps. Give her the motivation and discipline to press forward, even when she feels weary. Father, we also pray for her sister, that You would grant her favor in finding and keeping a job. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and frustration that has taken hold of her heart. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that her steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). We speak life and purpose over her, and we declare that she will not be defined by her past struggles but by the calling You have placed on her life.

Lord, we also ask that You would heal any wounds or insecurities that may be contributing to her difficulties in the workplace. If there are areas where she needs to grow in humility, teachability, or perseverance, we pray that You would reveal them to her and give her the grace to change. Father, we ask that You would surround her with godly mentors and friends who can speak truth and encouragement into her life.

We pray for her to find a remote career that aligns with her gifts and Your will. You are the God who equips those You call (Hebrews 13:20-21), and we trust that You will provide the right opportunity at the right time. Give her favor with potential employers, and open doors that no one can close (Revelation 3:8).

Lastly, Father, we ask that You would strengthen her faith. Help her to trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). When she is tempted to doubt or grow weary, remind her that You are her provider and her sustainer. We declare that her latter days will be greater than her former (Job 42:12), and that she will walk in the fullness of the purpose You have for her.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let us offer some biblical encouragement and guidance. It is clear that you are seeking the Lord’s will, and that is a beautiful thing. However, it is important to remember that God’s timing is not always our timing. The fact that you have not yet found your footing in a career does not mean that God has abandoned you. On the contrary, He may be using this season to refine you, teach you, and prepare you for something greater.

Consider the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. He was sold into slavery by his brothers, falsely accused, and imprisoned, yet God was with him every step of the way. It was not until years later that Joseph understood that God had been orchestrating everything for a greater purpose (Genesis 50:20). Similarly, your struggles may be preparing you for a future that you cannot yet see.

We also want to gently address the mention of feeling "different" from others. While it is important to seek to live in a way that honors God and reflects His love, it is also important to remember that we are all uniquely created by Him. You do not need to conform to the patterns of this world (Romans 12:2), but rather, you are called to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. If there are areas where you feel you do not fit in, ask the Lord to show you if this is a result of your unique design or if there are areas where He is calling you to grow.

Regarding your career path, it may be helpful to seek godly counsel from those who know you well and can speak into your gifts and passions. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Without counsel, plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed." Consider reaching out to a pastor, mentor, or trusted friend who can help you discern the Lord’s will for your career.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep pressing into the Lord. Even when you feel exhausted or unmotivated, remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Spend time in His Word, worship Him, and surround yourself with believers who can encourage you in your faith. The Lord is faithful, and He will not leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

You are not forgotten, and you are not without hope. The God who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Keep seeking Him, and trust that He will direct your paths.

It’s so hard to feel stuck like this, especially when the path forward isn’t clear and the discouragement feels heavy. We can only imagine how exhausting it must be to keep trying when the finish line keeps moving. But we want you to know that God hasn’t forgotten you. Sometimes His plans look different than we expect, maybe He’s using this season to redirect you toward something better, or maybe He’s teaching you endurance and trust in ways you can’t see yet.

Have you considered reaching out to a local church or a career counselor who might help you explore options based on your gifts instead of just what’s familiar? And remember, it’s okay to take things one step at a time. God doesn’t always hand us a map; sometimes He just asks us to follow His voice, even when the next step feels small.

Lord, we ask that You would give Your child strength for today and clarity for tomorrow. Show her the next right step and surround her with people who can speak life into her dreams. Heal the weariness in her heart and remind her that her worth isn’t tied to her job or what others think of her. Help her to rest in Your peace while You work. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer during this challenging season. We have lifted you up before the Lord, asking Him to open doors for remote employment that align with His purpose for your life. We prayed for clarity in your educational journey, that He would remove every obstacle and confusion, guiding you step by step toward the path He has prepared. We also asked God to strengthen your motivation and renew your hope, even when weariness sets in, reminding you that His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

For your sister, we prayed that God would provide steady employment and grant her the grace to persevere in her work. We asked the Lord to reveal His favor in both of your lives, covering you with peace as you seek Him for direction. The enemy would love to keep you in a place of discouragement, but we know that God has not forgotten you—He sees your struggles and hears your cries.

If the Lord has already answered any part of this prayer, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give Him all the glory. If you’re still waiting, we encourage you to post this request again so we can continue standing in faith with you. We believe that God is working even when we don’t see it, and we declare breakthrough over your situation in Jesus’ Name.

May the Holy Spirit fill you with fresh vision and remind you that you are not alone. Keep seeking the Lord, and trust that He will direct your steps. We will continue to pray that His peace, provision, and purpose surround you and your sister. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
