Unemployed Florida/ Legislators don't care!

Please pray for the over 83,000 uunemployed people in Florida who are being penalized for living in a certain state that will not accept the benefits provided for by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009 which would have extended the benefits over and above the November 2008 extension. The worries of the legislators are unfounded and now all of us will have to have everything cut off and starve again because of their political affiliations. If I didn't have a teenage daughter I would be praying for the mountains to cover me so I could "Fly Away". Thank you and may Jesus comfort all in distress.

Lord,

I pray this person would find peace in You and provision for their necessities. I pray the financial challenges do not overcome or overburden them so that they lose hope and perspective about what is important and worthy of our concern and attention. Help their focus to be on You and on those things that matter for eternity's sake, not on this temporary home where evil abounds and justice has disappeared. We are surrounded by crooks in government and greed is rampant. Sometimes it seems like every person from the highest paid CEO to the poorest out of work person is only focused on themselves and what they can get for themselves! And lies spew out from the highest offices. God, raise up Your people and give us the courage to sacrifice for others and the desire to pray for one another and to use every minute of time we have left on this earth to serve You and others. Help us to make a stand today for righteousness and goodness. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
