Undo the witchcraft and curse

Anonymous

Beloved of All
In cursed with poverty . And struggling . Everytime I’m doing good . Getting closer to God/Jesus I always found my way back unemployed and broke.

We hear your cry for deliverance and understand the deep frustration and despair that comes with feeling trapped in a cycle of poverty and setbacks, especially when you are earnestly seeking to draw closer to God. Let us first affirm that your desire to walk with Jesus is precious in His sight, and He does not abandon His children in their struggles. However, we must address this matter with both spiritual discernment and biblical truth.

The Bible is clear that witchcraft, curses, and any form of occult influence are detestable to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (WEB) states, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." If there has been any involvement, knowingly or unknowingly, in practices tied to witchcraft, generational curses, or occult activity, we must renounce these things in the name of Jesus and break their power over your life.

Jesus Christ came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and His blood has broken every curse for those who belong to Him. Galatians 3:13-14 (WEB) declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." If you have not already, we urge you to confess any known sin, including involvement in or exposure to witchcraft, and claim the freedom that is yours in Christ.

We also must examine whether there are areas in your life where you may be inadvertently hindering God’s blessings. Proverbs 28:19 (WEB) warns, "One who works his land will have an abundance of food; but one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty." Are you stewarding what God has given you, time, talents, resources, with wisdom and diligence? Are you tithing and giving generously, trusting God to provide (Malachi 3:10)? Are you walking in obedience to His Word, even in areas that may seem unrelated to your finances?

Additionally, we must address the spiritual warfare at play. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he will use every tactic, including financial oppression, to keep you from fulfilling God’s purpose. But we do not fight against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the armor of God, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We rebuke every spirit of poverty, lack, and sabotage in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We lift up our brother/sister who is struggling under the weight of financial oppression and spiritual attack. Lord, You see their heart and their desire to walk closely with You. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children and delivers them from every snare.

We break every curse, hex, spell, and assignment of witchcraft that has been spoken or enacted against them, whether knowingly or unknowingly, in their bloodline or in their own life. We cancel every word, every altar, every covenant, and every ungodly soul tie that has bound them. We declare that the blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and we command every spirit of poverty, lack, sabotage, and delay to flee right now in Jesus’ name!

Father, we ask You to forgive any sin that has opened doors to the enemy. If there has been involvement in witchcraft, generational idolatry, or any form of disobedience, we repent on their behalf and ask for Your cleansing. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and restore them to right standing with You.

Lord, we ask for Your divine provision and breakthrough. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide opportunities that align with Your will. Give them wisdom to steward their resources well and the faith to trust You even when the path is unclear. We declare that their latter shall be greater than their former (Haggai 2:9), and that they will walk in the abundance You have promised.

We plead the blood of Jesus over their finances, their work, their home, and their future. We cover them with Your protection and ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and community. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the truth of Your Word.

We thank You, Father, that You are their Provider, their Deliverer, and their Strong Tower. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding and Your joy that is their strength. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on the promises of God’s Word daily. Meditate on Scriptures like Philippians 4:19 ("My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"), and declare them over your life. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. And remember, the enemy may attack, but he cannot destroy what God has ordained. Your breakthrough is coming, do not lose heart!

We hear the weariness in your words, pressing closer to God only to find the ground give way again feels deeply unfair, and it’s exhausting. We’re thankful you’ve reached out.

When a pattern like this keeps repeating, it’s easy to believe a dark force is singling you out. But let’s hold onto this together: Jesus has already disarmed every power that could genuinely hold you (Colossians 2:15), and no curse can outlast His grip on your life. Sometimes what feels like a curse is actually the ordinary, painful rhythm of spiritual training, like learning to run a long race, not a sprint. God often uses repeated pressures to build a steadier faith in us, not to push us away. It may not feel like it now, but your dogged return to Him has not gone unnoticed.

In the middle of that, we’d gently encourage you to pair your prayer with a few concrete job-search steps this week. Sometimes God’s provision shows up through practical helps: updating your résumé with a trusted friend, asking your church network if anyone knows of openings, or visiting a local employment office for guidance. Even one small action can break the isolation of the struggle.

Let’s pray now.

Jesus, we bring this soul before You, worn down, afraid, and wondering if the floor will fall again. Quiet any voice of accusation, and shield their mind from the suggestion that they are cursed. Open a door to steady work, and give them the courage to keep drawing near even when it feels futile. Meet them in the ordinary steps, and let them taste Your faithfulness again. Amen.

We’re walking with you in this, friend. You are not alone.

The dark insinuation that you are under a curse of poverty and witchcraft is none other than that most deadly arrow from the bow of the Evil One, whispered to make you believe God has forsaken you. This is the very trial of the saint: when you draw near to Christ, the adversary redoubles his assault, seeking to make the mercy of God seem a mirage. But know this, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. No enchantment, no divination, no spell can hold a soul for whom the blood of Jesus has been shed. The chains you feel are broken; the prison doors stand open. He has delivered us from the power of darkness.

Yet, what of your returning poverty? Look not upon your outward estate as the measure of His love. The wells of salvation are not dried up when your purse is empty. He brought forth Israel with silver and gold, but first they groaned under the taskmaster. Your repeated falls do not mean God has cast you off; rather, they are the permitted conflicts that drive you to cling to the Deliverer alone. When faith is weak, the tongue of unbelief will cry out, “I am cursed,” but muzzle that hound of hell! Declare instead, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance has already been shot; the victory is His. Only take the bow of faith again, place your hand in His, and shoot toward the promise. Quit looking to your own grip on God and rest in His grip on you. Your return to brokenness is not the seal of a curse, but the very path by which He teaches you that blessedness comes not by the works of the law, but by grace alone. Stand still, and see the salvation of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of a curse of poverty, but I ask you, under Christ, what curse has any power over you who believe? The Law indeed pronounced, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things written in the book of the Law." But you are not under that curse, for Christ has redeemed you from it. He became a curse for you. As it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree," and He took that curse upon Himself to deliver you from the one that truly condemned. So do not think that poverty is a curse from God. Under the Old Covenant, men accounted wealth a blessing and poverty a curse, but now it is no longer so. You are in Christ, and in Him there is no such curse.

Do not tremble at poverty, for it is not poverty that brings evil, but how one bears it. The rich, misusing wealth, fall into rapine, fraud, unholy unions, witchcrafts, poisonings. Yes, I say that wealth, more than poverty, is the field where such sins flourish. But poverty often keeps a man sober-minded, grave, and free from the cares that choke the soul. A poor man can shine brighter in virtue than a rich one, for he has fewer impediments. Why then do you fear it? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. And can you point to one who has perished from hunger who trusts in Him? It is not poverty that makes you subject to contempt, but wickedness. Many poor men live quiet, peaceful lives, while the rich end more wretchedly than bandits. When you were close to God and then lost employment, think: did God desert you? Or is He perhaps training you, that you might learn to rely not on your labor but on His provision? The very ups and downs you describe are not the signs of a curse, but of a soul being drawn to seek a kingdom not of this world.

You ask for release from witchcraft. But I tell you, the curse you fear has been undone already on the tree. The real witchcraft is the deceit of sin, which often comes cloaked in the desire for wealth and ease. Christ Himself became poor for your sake, so that through His poverty you might become rich. Not rich in money, but in faith, in grace, in adoption as a son of God. If you are a beggar, a stranger, unlearned, what hinders you from being blessed? Nothing, if you pursue virtue. The Beatitudes are not for the wealthy, but for the poor in spirit. You have been getting closer to God only to find outward loss? Then rejoice that your treasure is shifting to heaven. Your struggle is not the curse of God, but the testing of your faith, to see if you will love Him when earthly props are removed. Do not curse the poor or see your house as disgraced by simple vessels. That is the world's thinking. Instead, know that being indifferent to worldly things opens the door to care for your soul. Stand firm, then, in the liberty Christ bought for you. He has delivered you from the curse. Walk in that freedom, and fear no more.

The power of any curse has already been broken over your life. When Jesus hung on the cross, He bore the full curse of sin. The thorns pressed into His brow were a direct sign: He took the curse that fell on the ground because of Adam’s rebellion, the curse of poverty and toil and thistles. He became a curse for us, so that you and I could be set free. Whatever word has been spoken over you, whether by someone claiming to hex you or by your own fears, it has no hold on you now. In Christ, you are blessed, and no divination can stand against what God has blessed.

What you describe, the cycle of drawing near to God and then facing sudden loss, feels like a direct attack. But it is not evidence of a curse taking effect. Remember the man who lost everything, yet refused to curse God. The enemy had permission to touch his possessions, but not to define his soul. Your hardship may be a severe test, but it is not a sign that God has abandoned you. He is with you in the struggle, and His grace is sufficient even when your hands feel empty.

Do not succumb to the lie that a witch’s words or some ritual can override what Christ purchased for you on that tree. A curse without cause is like a sparrow flitting by, it never lands. It cannot stick. You belong to the One who redeemed you from the curse of the law. He became poor so that through His poverty you might receive the riches of God’s love and grace. Those riches are not measured by a bank account; they are the deep, unshakable inheritance of eternal life and the promise of the Spirit.

When you feel the familiar fear rising, that this new job or provision will just slip away again, set your heart on the truth: what God has declared over you is blessing, not curse. That does not mean we ignore practical steps. Scripture warns that chasing after quick wealth or following unreliable schemes leads to poverty, while faithful, steady labor yields provision. Keep your hands to what is honest and your trust in the Provider, not in the paycheck. He knows your needs.

The enemy may roar, but he cannot reverse what God has spoken over you. Stand firm. When those thoughts whisper that you should just give up, remember that the One who wore the thorns is now seated in glory, and you are hidden in Him. No hex can penetrate that refuge. That is not wishful thinking; it is the settled fact of the new covenant. You are not under the old system of curses for disobedience; you are in Christ, and in Him every promise is yes. Rest in that. Let your prayers be not for a counter-curse, but for a deeper trust in the finished work of Jesus, who has already undone every curse forever.
