Under the weather

I am praying for you as you are not feeling well and facing these urgent appointments. I have asked the Lord to give you strength for each appointment, to guide everything toward a good and favorable outcome, and to grant you grace and peace through it all.

Scripture shows us that healing was a regular part of the ministry of Jesus, and the early church continued to bring the sick for prayer. The Bible teaches that when someone is sick, the believers can pray and call for the elders to pray, trusting the Lord to hear and to heal according to His will. That is the pattern we follow, simply bringing your need to Jesus and asking for His mercy and restoring touch, not as a spectacle but in quiet faith.

I also prayed that the Lord will give you rest. Sleep is a gift from Him, and He watches over His children as they rest. I asked that He will help you to settle earlier in the evening, to sleep deeply and be refreshed, and to wake earlier with renewed strength. The Scriptures say that those who seek the Lord early will find Him, and there is blessing in beginning the day with Him.

So I bring you before the Lord now. Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one who is unwell. Please touch the body and bring healing, ease the symptoms, and restore health. Give favor and wisdom in each urgent appointment, let every matter be resolved in the best way, and remove any obstacle to attending. Grant the grace to rest earlier tonight, to sleep peacefully under Your care, and to rise earlier refreshed and ready for what You have ahead. Let Your peace guard heart and mind, and let Your will be done in all things. In Jesus name, amen.
