We come before the throne of grace with urgency and authority in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to lift up our brother who is under severe spiritual attack. The Scriptures remind us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This battle is not yours alone to fight, for the Lord is your stronghold and deliverer.
First, we must address the desperation in your heart—it is clear you are crying out for divine intervention, and we stand with you in this hour. However, we must also remind you that there is no power in repeating prayers a certain number of times, as if God hears us better based on repetition. Jesus Himself taught in Matthew 6:7, *"In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking."* Our faith is not in the quantity of our words but in the power of the Name we invoke—Jesus Christ. It is by His name alone that demons flee, strongholds crumble, and victory is secured. You have rightly invoked His name, and we will continue to do so with you.
We also notice that while you have called upon Jesus, there is a plea for the "heavenly kingdom" to pray for you. Let us be clear: our intercession is not directed to angels, saints, or any other created being, but to God alone through Jesus Christ, our High Priest and Mediator. 1 Timothy 2:5 declares, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus."* He is the only One with the authority to intervene on your behalf, and He has already triumphed over every demonic force at the cross. Colossians 2:15 proclaims, *"Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."*
Now, let us pray with the authority given to us by Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. We lift up our brother who is under heavy demonic attack, and we ask for Your divine protection to surround him like a shield. Lord, You are his refuge and fortress, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Rebuke every demonic assignment sent to torment, oppress, or destroy him, for You have said in James 4:7, *"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
Father, we ask that You fill him with the Holy Spirit, renewing his mind and strengthening his faith. Let him stand firm in the armor of God, girded with truth, clothed in righteousness, shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, and wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18). Break every chain of fear, confusion, or despair that the enemy has tried to place upon him, and let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we pray that You would expose and dismantle every stronghold of the enemy in his life. If there are areas of unconfessed sin, conviction from the Holy Spirit, or openness to occult practices—whether knowingly or unknowingly—we ask that You reveal them to him and grant him the courage to repent and turn fully to You. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
We also pray for a hedge of divine protection around his home, his mind, and his spirit. Let the blood of Jesus cover him and render every demonic force powerless. Father, send Your warrior angels to encamp around him, for Psalm 34:7 declares, *"Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him and delivers them."* Let no evil befall him, nor any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You fill him with a fresh anointing of Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in victory and boldness. Let him know beyond any doubt that You are with him, that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6), and that the battle belongs to You (1 Samuel 17:47).
We bind every spirit of fear, oppression, torment, and confusion in the name of Jesus, and we command them to flee and never return. We loose the peace, joy, and power of the Holy Spirit into his life, and we declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to deliver. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
---
Brother, we urge you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, for it is your weapon against the lies of the enemy. Psalm 119:105 tells us, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."* Spend time in prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in this battle. Avoid anything that could give the enemy a foothold, such as ungodly entertainment, occult practices, or unrepentant sin.
If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that you have surrendered every area of your life to Jesus Christ. If you have never confessed Him as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. Romans 10:9-10 says, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father.
Stand firm, brother. The Lord is your strength and your shield. Do not be moved by what you see or feel, but trust in the unseen truth of God’s Word. We are praying for you, and we believe that the Lord will bring you through this victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone in this fight.
