Uncooperative

Beloved of All
Dentist office are uncooperative and praying they not do further damage to me my implant in retaliation from this complaint, wil have to have the same incompetent dentist redo this treatment Jesus please help and they reimburse to find someone more competent.

We hear how heavy and distressing this situation has been for you and we are lifting you up together before the Lord in Jesus name. It is understandable to feel anxious and vulnerable when you must trust someone with your health and you have lost confidence in their care, and especially when you fear retaliation or further harm.

We take comfort that you called upon Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and peace in trouble. We are reminded In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also cling to the promise God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 and Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the pain, the worry over this implant, and the fear of being harmed again. We ask You to be their protector and healer. We pray that You would guard their body from any further damage and bring complete healing, for You have said But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We ask that You would restrain any harmful intent and soften the hearts of this dental office. We pray When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7 Let there be no retaliation but only professionalism and care. Give wisdom to this dentist if they must do the retreatment, steady their hands, and if it is not Your will for them to do it, open a door for reimbursement and for a more competent provider to take over. We ask for wisdom for every decision ahead, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 Lead to the right second opinion, to favor in resolving this complaint justly, and to peace that surpasses understanding while waiting. We ask all this in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast your cares on Him while also taking wise practical steps. Document everything in writing with dates and what was said, keep copies of records and images, and if possible bring a trusted family member or friend as a witness to any further appointment. It is wise to seek a second opinion from another qualified dentist, even if you must pay for a consultation, so you have clarity on what is needed and what is reasonable to request for reimbursement. You may also consider asking the office manager calmly and in writing for a clear treatment plan and for options including refund or transfer of care, and if needed, contacting your state dental board or patient advocate for guidance on your rights. We are trusting with you that God will make a way for competent care, for justice, and for your peace and healing.

We hear how vulnerable this has left you. Needing dental work already takes trust, and when that trust feels broken and you are worried about retaliation, it is understandable to feel on edge going back into that office.

We are praying for your safety and for wisdom for everyone involved, and for a fair way forward with the implant and the cost.

One thing that can help when a provider feels uncooperative is to gently advocate for yourself in writing. It often steadies the conversation to have a short, calm note describing what happened, what you are concerned about, and what you are requesting, with dates and facts, and to keep a copy. If you must return to the same office, consider bringing a trusted friend or family member with you and asking for the plan in writing before any work is redone, so you can take time to review it. It can also be helpful to get a second opinion from another qualified dentist, ask how to obtain a copy of your records and X-rays, and talk with the office manager or your dental insurance about reimbursement options.

You do not have to navigate this alone.

Jesus, we lift this need to You. Please guard this person from harm, guide the hands that provide care, and make a clear path to competent help and a just resolution. Give peace in the waiting and wisdom for each next conversation. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden concerning this dental treatment has been heard, and it is brought with sympathy before the throne of grace. To be in pain, to need further treatment, and to fear that those who should heal may instead do harm, is a trial that naturally breeds anxiety. Yet have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty.

Therefore you are charged, as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, to play the man and let faith overcome fear, obeying that gracious word, Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. It is right to tell the Lord about it, for if anxiety is confined to yourself no good will come of that, but when it is cast upon Him who cares for you, the heart is steadied.

The Lord says to His people, Fear not, for I will help thee. Fear not, thou worm Jacob. This Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden, and it is not merely the preacher who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. To be afraid in such a way as to distrust His power dishonors Him, for fear is weakening, but the fear of God brings blessing while the fear of man brings a snare. You are not to fear retaliation as though you were left alone, for He who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth has not suffered His arm to be palsied, and He is able to keep you even in the hands of men.

We also remember that our Lord is the great Physician, and that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, from which we gather that the least thing about Christ is healing. As you look to Him for the healing of the soul, so you may look to Him for the body, asking that He would preserve you from further harm, guide the hands that touch you, and restore what is injured.

We join you in prayer to our gracious God, that He would put His fear in the hearts of those who treat you, that they would act justly and not in retaliation, that no further damage would be done to the implant, and that if it is necessary for the same hand to complete the work, the Lord would restrain error and grant steadiness and care. We ask that the Lord would provide a way for competent care to be secured, and that what is just concerning reimbursement would be granted, so that you are not left without remedy. We ask too that He would calm your spirit, take away tormenting fear, and give you wisdom in every conversation and decision, that you may act with clarity and gentleness.

May the Lord show you that He cares for you in this bodily affliction as well as in the weightier matters of the soul, and may you prove the abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, whose least touch brings virtue. Commit this matter fully to Him, seek wise counsel where you are able, keep a careful record of what is done, and rest in the promise, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. May His peace keep your heart and His mercy provide your healing. Amen.

Dealing with a dentist who won't own a bad outcome is exhausting, especially when the implant is in your own mouth. There's a short spoken prayer called the Implant Prayer on the One Prayer at a Time YouTube channel, prayed over healing for dental implants, and you only have to listen. I hope you find a dentist you can trust and things turn around.
