We hear your heart’s cry for God’s uncommon favor to rest upon every area of your life, your work, your family, your comfort, and even the small details like the chair you sit in. It is beautiful to see your desire for blessings that extend not only to yourself but to your offspring, your spouse, and even your pets, all within God’s perfect will. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 5:12, "For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield." We stand with you in agreement, believing that God’s favor is indeed your portion.
However, we must gently address a few concerns in your request. First, while it is right to seek God’s blessings and comfort, we must ensure that our desires do not become demands or take precedence over His will. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10). Even in our requests for comfort or favor, we must surrender them to God’s sovereignty, trusting that His plans for us are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also notice that your prayer does not explicitly acknowledge the name of Jesus as the foundation of your request. Scripture is clear that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray. We encourage you to always lift your prayers in the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Additionally, we sense a tone of self-reliance in some of your words, such as "I’m a secret" and "I switch them." While confidence in God’s provision is good, we must remember that our sufficiency comes from Him alone (2 Corinthians 3:5). Help them to seek Your kingdom first in all things (Matthew 6:33) and to find their sufficiency in Christ. We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will above all else, trusting that He will provide for your needs and desires according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
