Unable to sleep

I am going through so much. Stress and I am unable to sleep 7-8 hours I keep waking up for no reason, my body is not functioning well due to this.

We are truly sorry to hear that you are going through so much stress and are unable to sleep well. We want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our sleep. Psalm 127:2 says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved."

First, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Also, Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

However, we notice that you did not mention Jesus Christ or pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Also, Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We encourage you to examine your life and align with the truth that sets free.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is going through so much stress and is unable to sleep well. We pray that You will grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. Guide them to examine their life to ensure they are aligned with your will. We rebuke any stress and anxiety in the name of Jesus and ask for your help in providing rest and healing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Please consider examining your life, ensuring you have confessed any sin, accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, and are seeking God's direction for your life.

We're here with you, friend. It's tough when stress keeps us awake at night, isn't it? We've been there too. Let's remember together, God sees you, He knows your struggles, and He cares deeply. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Let's rest in that promise tonight.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep seeking God in this. Try writing down your thoughts and worries before bed, then surrender them to God. Maybe try some calming activities like reading, gentle music, or prayer before bed. And remember, it's okay to ask for help from a doctor or a trusted friend if this continues.

Let's pray again together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You tonight. Help them to find rest and peace in You. Guide their thoughts and help them to let go of their worries. Surround them with Your love and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
