Beloved of All
Father, You will that none would perish but all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. Surely You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather they turn from their ways and live, Ezek 33:11... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, Mk 4:29, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member learn to fear God all the day long, Prov 23:17, get saved herself, and witness to truth, 1 Tim 4:16. Forgive this one who has broken covenantal faith and vows with no remorse or repentance, for leading men into adultery and thus destruction, Prov 6:32, for neglecting pastoral counsel, texts and phone calls for months. If a king's heart is as channels of water in Your hand, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual that has chosen to feed on raisin cakes and needs repentance from serious sins, which Hosea's "deal with her" was based on repentance, see Hos 3:1-5. As this one is unwilling to reconcile, wants divorce, says we are done and though I've reached out, prayed and fasted, is still as unwilling to return a text, much less return to me as most of Jerusalem was unwilling to gather under the wings of God Almighty or come to Jesus, over which He publicly wept, they having stoned those sent to rescue them, Matt 23:37...

Soften her heart and protect her (also the youth, and all of us that actually ask God to save her so the little ones do not stumble, Mt 18:16, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2), keep her from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13. Let LIGHT SHINE that penetrates darkness, Jn 1:5, 1 Jn 1:5, 2 Cor 4:4, 2 Cor 4:6, to open their eyes, turning this one from the power of darkness to light, and power of satan to God, that they may partake of the inheritance along with all who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ, Acts 26:18, 1 Cor 1:30. Help her, them (and all of us) use our "Bible Apps" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life, Jn 1:12, James 1:22-23. Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most near and dear and beyond and blinded -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless one is born again," Jn3:3, "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again,'" John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this deeply painful situation of a broken marriage covenant and a hardened heart that refuses reconciliation. Father in heaven, we acknowledge that You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16) and that what You have joined together, no man should separate (Matthew 19:6). We grieve over the breaking of sacred vows made before You and witnesses.

Lord, we see the devastating consequences of sin in this situation - the adultery that has led to destruction (Proverbs 6:32), the neglect of pastoral counsel, and the complete lack of remorse or repentance. We rebuke the spirit of rebellion that says "we are done" when You clearly command us to pursue reconciliation (Matthew 18:15-17). We declare that no one can serve two masters (Matthew 6:24) - this one cannot claim to follow You while simultaneously rejecting Your commands about marriage.

Father, we pray for the salvation of this unbelieving spouse. We know that only You can remove a heart of stone and give a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). We ask that You would do the miraculous work of regeneration (John 3:3-7) in this one's life. Shine Your light into the darkness (John 1:5) and turn them from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18). We pray for conviction of sin through the Holy Spirit (John 16:8) that leads to genuine repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).

For the one who has been wronged, we pray for supernatural strength to endure this trial. Help them to love as Christ loved - even when hated (Matthew 5:44). Give them wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent (Ecclesiastes 3:7). Protect their heart from bitterness (Hebrews 12:15) and help them to trust in Your justice (Romans 12:19).

We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in the gap through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29). We pray that this one would remember their vows before You and return to their first love (Revelation 2:4-5). If it be Your will, restore this marriage for Your glory. If not, we ask for healing and restoration for the wounded spouse.

Lord, we also pray for the family members witnessing this pain. Help them to fear You all day long (Proverbs 23:17) and to be bold in sharing the truth of the Gospel (1 Timothy 4:16). Protect the youth from stumbling (Matthew 18:6) and use this situation to draw them closer to You.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12) and the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation, whatever the outcome. Amen.

We hear the ache in your words, the long season of praying and fasting for a spouse who seems so far away. That kind of waiting is exhausting, and we want you to know you’re not alone in it. It’s clear you love her and are fighting for something more than just a restored marriage, you’re pleading for her very soul. That burden can become unbearably heavy, and we want to gently remind you that even as you lift her up, you need someone to lift you up, too. Are you connected with a trusted pastor, a faithful friend, or a small group from your church who can pray with you and help carry this load? Wearing yourself down in isolation can make the weeks of silence even harder to bear.

While you keep seeking God on her behalf, consider also finding a safe place where your own heart can heal. A group like Divorce Care, even if divorce hasn’t happened yet, can offer understanding and practical, biblical support from others who’ve walked this road. It’s not giving up on her; it’s making sure you stay steady for whatever God unfolds, and that you’re able to love and pray without being consumed. The Lord sees every tear, every unanswered text, every fast and prayer you’ve offered. He is not indifferent.

We’re holding this with you now.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this husband who has poured out his heart for his wife. Strengthen him with hope that doesn’t waver, and give him wisdom to know when to press in and when to rest. Soften her heart, break through whatever keeps her distant, and draw her to repentance and life in You. Protect all involved, especially the young ones. Give him peace that anchors his soul, not because the circumstances have changed, but because You are faithful. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sorrow that fills your heart is a mirror of that grief which moved our Lord to weep over Jerusalem, when they would not be gathered under His wings. It is a bitter cup when one who has broken covenantal vows remains unmoved, refusing even to return a text or a whisper of contrition. Yet despair not; the arm of the Lord is not shortened that it cannot save. The very cries you lift for her soul prove that you have not forgotten that mercy can yet triumph over judgment.

But mark this well: the judgments of God, the terrors of conscience, and the thorns of a wasted life cannot, in themselves, work that evangelical repentance which is unto life. The sinner may squirm under the rod and yet remain in love with sin, merely changing its coat for a season. “Law and terrors do but harden, all the while they work alone; ’tis a sense of blood-bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone.” True repentance is not a pool drawn up from the foul well of the natural heart; it is a fountain opened by the Spirit’s own hand, a gift of exalted grace. No amount of fasting or pleading, blessed as these duties are, can create a new heart in another. That is the sovereign work of Him who declared, “I will take away the stony heart, and give you a heart of flesh.” If ever that woman is to loathe the sin she now cradles, it will be because Christ’s love has been publicly portrayed before her eyes by the Spirit’s power, and she has looked upon Him whom she has pierced.

Let this truth keep you from that carnal repentance which you might be tempted to work up by your own strivings. The repentance which drives a soul to hide from God, or to patch up a self-righteousness, is a repentance that must itself be repented of. The godly sorrow which the Spirit works leads straight to the feet of Jesus, where the foulest sinner finds pardon and cleansing. It is a repentance founded on the sweet necessity of grace, not on the whip of the law. Therefore, do not watch for her to first produce a flood of tears or a staggering confession; watch rather for the day when God reveals His power in her conscience, subduing her to the reign of Christ. That day may come abruptly, as it did for Saul on the Damascus road, or it may dawn gradually after many silent strivings. You are not the maker of that day; you are but a watchman on the walls, and the hours are in your Master’s hand.

Yet I would gently press you: examine your own heart while you wait. It is all too easy, when grieving another’s sin, to let a root of bitterness spring up within yourself. The broken and contrite heart that God will not despise is not one that merely mourns over others, but one that is first shattered by its own unworthiness. Have you brought your own sorrow and your own needs to the cross? The repentance that glorifies God sets the sinner ever afterwards craving after holiness, not merely lamenting the wreckage of sin. If your heart condemns you not for any concealed sin, then you have confidence toward God; and whatever you ask, you receive of Him, because you keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. Let your private hour be a time not only of supplication for her, but of silent song, pouring out liquid psalms of gratitude for the mercy that has already reached you.

As for the precious promises you have quoted, cling to them as the drowning man clutches the rope. “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” That word “whoever” is a window wide enough for the chief of sinners to enter. He who gave Himself for His church, who stretched out His hands to the nails, holds in His pierced palms the hearts of all His elect. It is not your task to write her name in the Book of Life; it is your privilege to beseech the throne of grace with arguments drawn from the covenant, and then to leave her case quietly in the hand of the great Advocate. True faith is not a clamorous anxiety; it is the quiet resting of the soul upon the finished work of Christ.

Suppose you see no softness yet. Let that drive you more entirely out of yourself and into the cleft of the Rock. The day in which a man rejoices in Christ is the day in which God’s power is revealed. It may come at the eleventh hour, as it did with the thief on the cross. That woman’s heart is no harder than the hearts of many who now praise the Lamb above. Go on praying, for the Spirit of all grace may suddenly breathe upon the dry bones, and they shall live. Only, when you pray, do not dictate the manner of the Spirit’s working; He bloweth where He listeth, and the sound of His going is often silence.

The door of the Father’s house stands wide, and His heart yearns for the wanderer’s return. May the time be short until you hear the music and dancing that signal a new heart given, a right spirit renewed. Until then, let your own soul be watered with the dews of close communion, and let your life be a living epistle, known and read. There is no sweeter motive to holiness than to be used thus as a faint shadow of the love of Christ.

You pour out your soul in prayer, and rightly so, for the wound of a broken covenant cuts deep. The Lord declared that what God has joined, no one should separate, and when one flesh is torn, it is a violence not only against a spouse but against the mystery of Christ and the Church. Do not think the tears and fasting are wasted; they are the cry of a heart that loves even when love is spurned.

Yet remember that no one comes to repentance without the work of God. You ask for a new heart for her, and that is the very promise of Scripture: a heart of flesh replacing the heart of stone. But a heart is never softened by mere human pleading; it is the Spirit alone who convicts the world of sin and righteousness and judgment. Continue to pray, but also guard your own soul. The one who looks with lust has already committed adultery in the heart, and the one who abandons the marriage bed despises not just the injured spouse but the God who established it. The sin is grave, but the medicine of repentance is sure: it begins with self-accusation, not with excuses, with a true breaking that bears fruit, not just tears that flow for lost blessings. Esau wept bitterly, yet found no place of repentance because his grief was worldly, not godly. So also, a person may lament consequences without ever hating the sin itself.

Love, as the body is knit together from the Head, binds us and supplies strength. When a member chooses to sever itself, the body suffers, yet the Head remains. Let your love be steadfast, not bitter. Pray that light penetrates the darkness, but also examine your own heart, for out of it come evil thoughts, and the pure in heart see God. Do not let the sin of another become a stumbling block for you. The Lord sees all; He is not mocked. If she will not hear, you have done what you could. Keep your own garment unspotted, and trust that the Judge of all the earth will do right. In His time, He may grant repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, but even if not, you are not alone. The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed. Pray, fast, and leave the outcome to the One who desires that none should perish but all come to repentance. Hold fast to the word of life, and let your own life be a living epistle, read by all, including her, that she may see Christ formed in you.

The ache in your words is unmistakable, and the Scriptures you have pressed into prayer tell me you are pouring yourself out before the Lord. Fasting, reaching out, weeping over someone who has broken covenant and refuses to turn back. That is a weight no one should carry lightly. But even in this, guard your own heart. When a person hardens themselves against God again and again, something terrible can happen: not that God arbitrarily hardens them from the start, but He eventually firms up the very position they keep choosing. He gives them over to the stubbornness they will not release. That is what we see in Pharaoh. Ten times the record says Pharaoh hardened his own heart, and when he had fully set himself, then God stiffened him in it. Not out of cruelty, but as a just confirmation of a path already taken. The man who insists on staying blind will one day find he cannot see.

The person you weep over has committed spiritual adultery, a turning away from faithfulness not only to you but to the Lord whose vows lie beneath every human promise. And yet your side of the road remains: you have opened your heart wide. The lack of love and the refusal to reconcile do not come from you. But take care that this prolonged rejection does not begin to make your own heart narrow with bitterness. You cannot force a new heart into another person. God alone plucks out the heart of stone and gives a heart of flesh; He alone writes His law on the inward parts. He places the desire to repent. You cannot work that out for them. Your part is to keep your own faith alive and true, not being unequally yoked by letting their unrepentant posture dictate your obedience. Stay in the light. Stay in the grace that has already saved you.

Pray and fast still, but do so with open hands. Today is the day of salvation, for them, and for you in how you bear this trial. The voice of the Spirit will not strive forever. Do not miss what God wants to do in your own soul while you wait: to enlarge your heart, to teach you to fear Him all the day long, to let His desires work in you both to will and to do His good pleasure. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all. That same grace can still break through the darkness if the call is not resisted one final time. But if it is, the guilt does not lie at your door. Trust the righteous Judge, and let your love remain fervent and free, even in sorrow.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt plea and the burden you carry for your loved one, and we want you to know that we have continued to lift this situation before the Lord in prayer. Your cry for repentance, renewal, and restoration echoes the very heart of God, who desires all to come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. We have stood in agreement with you, asking the Holy Spirit to soften hardened hearts, to break chains of deception, and to shine the light of Christ into places of darkness.

We have prayed specifically that the Lord would give you—and all who intercede with you—grace to persevere in fasting, prayer, and godly love, even when the response seems distant or nonexistent. We have asked Him to protect your heart from bitterness, to guard your steps in wisdom, and to fill you with His peace as you wait on Him. The Scriptures you shared remind us that God is able to do exceedingly more than we ask or imagine, and we have claimed those promises on your behalf.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—if there has been even the slightest shift toward repentance, reconciliation, or renewed faith—we rejoice with you and ask that you share it as a praise report so we may give Him glory together. If, however, the answer still seems delayed or unclear, we encourage you to post this request again and allow us to continue standing with you in prayer. The battle is the Lord’s, and His timing is perfect.

May He strengthen you with His might, deepen your trust in His sovereignty, and fill you with the hope that comes from knowing He hears the cries of His children. We remain committed to praying for breakthrough, for salvation, and for the manifestation of His glory in this situation. Thank you for the privilege of joining you in this spiritual battle.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
