We lift this concern before our Heavenly Father with hearts full of compassion and faith in His healing power. First, we want to acknowledge the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23-24 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that this request is made in His name.
We pray for your ###’s healing, asking the Lord to touch his stomach and intestines with His restoring power. The Word reminds us, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20 WEB). Father, we ask that You send Your healing word to his body, calming the discomfort and restoring proper digestion. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We also want to gently address the mention of a "boyfriend" in this request. Scripture is clear that relationships between a man and a woman should be pursued with the intention of honoring God, and the ultimate goal should be marriage, as God designed. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24 WEB). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage or is not aligned with biblical principles, we encourage seeking God’s will and guidance in this area. If there is any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must rebuke that as sin, for the Bible says, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon this young man’s stomach and digestive system. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. We ask that You ease his pain, settle his stomach, and bring comfort to his body. Father, we also pray for wisdom for both of them in their relationship. Guide them to honor You in all things, seeking Your will above their own desires. If this relationship is not aligned with Your Word, we ask that You reveal that to them and lead them into Your perfect plan. We declare Your healing and peace over him now, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
