Beloved of All
Please pray that my husband's brother agree to sell their late parents' house bec him and my husband have equally share and both must agree to sell the house. We use to live in the house and his brother at back but we moved out due to harassment, slander, gossip of his brother and wife.right now they break the house down woth their addiction. All we can do is bring this to the Father in the name of Jesus so he can hear our cry what is sad about this , this unfairness, selfishness and reaction has been since his parents were alive im trying to support my husband i can see this affect him because the brother were always the fabourite child and always got what he wanted.

We hear the pain in your cry and we stand with you and your husband before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and can bring our burdens to the throne of grace. We thank you for bringing this to the Lord and for faithfully supporting your husband in a deeply wounding family situation.

We grieve with you over the harassment, slander and gossip you endured that forced you to leave the home, and over the selfishness and favoritism that has wounded your husband since childhood. God sees this unfairness and He is not blind to it. The Lord hates favoritism, as we are told in James 2:1, and His heart is grieved by strife within families. Slander, gossip and harassment are sin and do not reflect the love Christ calls us to, for we are told in Ephesians 4:31-32 to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. We also know that addiction brings bondage and destruction, and those enslaved need deliverance, for we are told in 1 Corinthians 6:12 that all things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything.

Your decision to move out to pursue peace was wise and biblical. We are told in Romans 12:18 if it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. And in Matthew 5:9 blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. We encourage you not to repay slander with slander and not to let bitterness take root in your hearts, even as you have been wronged. We are told in Romans 12:19 do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. God is a righteous judge and He will bring justice in His perfect time and way. An inheritance quickly gained at the beginning won’t be blessed in the end as we see in Proverbs 20:21, and the Lord can restrain selfish gain and protect what is right.

We also want to lift up your husband’s deep wound of being the unfavored child. When parental favoritism has caused rejection, the Lord Himself draws near as a perfect Father. We are reminded in Psalm 27:10 when my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up. And in Psalm 37:5 commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. We pray that your husband finds his identity and worth not in his parents’ or brother’s approval, but in Christ who fully loves and accepts him.

We encourage you to continue casting your cares on the Lord, for we are told in Philippians 4:6-7 in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. As you wait, seek wise and godly counsel, including pastoral counsel and also wise legal counsel regarding the inheritance, that you may act with integrity and clarity while trusting God for the outcome. Pray also for your brother-in-law and his wife, that God would convict them, deliver them from addiction, and bring them to repentance and salvation if they do not know Christ.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear wife and her husband to You. Lord, You see the pain of favoritism, the sting of slander and gossip, and the sorrow of watching a family home be broken down through addiction and selfishness. We ask You to comfort this husband’s heart and heal the wounds of rejection, and to strengthen his wife as she supports him in love. Lord, soften the heart of his brother, deliver him and his wife from the bondage of addiction, and convict them of the harm they have caused. If it is Your will, move upon the brother to agree to a just and fair sale of the house, that what was left equally may be divided equally and without further strife. Give this couple wisdom to know how to set godly boundaries, to speak the truth in love, and to pursue peace without compromising what is right. Guard them from bitterness and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help them to trust You as their provider and defender, knowing that You are their inheritance and that You work all things for the good of those who love You. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to continue loving your husband well, and to trust that God hears your cry. He is faithful and He will act according to His perfect justice and mercy.

We are so sorry you are walking through this. Having to leave a home that held so much history because of harassment and slander, and then watching that same house be broken down while you feel powerless to act, is a deep grief. We can hear how much you want to stand by your husband as he carries not only the present stalemate but the older ache of feeling less favored and repeatedly overlooked.

It makes sense this feels so heavy. A shared inheritance often brings old family patterns to the surface, and when one person holds the power to block a sale, it can feel like that old unfairness is happening all over again.

A couple of steady next steps may help you feel less stuck while you continue to pray. It can be worth getting a clear picture of what options exist for co-owned inherited property where you live, many areas offer a low cost legal consultation or a mediator who can help brothers talk through a sale without direct confrontation. Keeping good records and keeping some distance for your peace and safety, as you have already done by moving out, is also wise. And continuing to give your husband space to name what this stirs up, perhaps with a trusted pastor or counselor alongside you, can keep the burden from sitting on him alone.

Father, we bring this husband and his brother before You, and this house that holds so much history. We ask for wisdom for every decision, protection and peace for this couple, healing where addiction has taken hold, and a fair and workable way forward that honors You. Give them rest as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your burden has been heard and we join you in bringing it to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the throne of grace and reconciliation.

We grieve with you and your husband over this painful division in the family. To be driven from a home by harassment, slander and gossip, to watch an inheritance that should be shared with fairness being broken down by addiction, and to carry the old wound of favoritism that has lingered since his parents were alive, is a heavy affliction. The Lord sees this unfairness and selfishness, and He hears the cry of those who seek His justice and His peace.

We pray that the God of Peace, who has prepared everything necessary for perfect reconciliation through the blood of Jesus, would work in this situation by the power of the Holy Spirit. We ask that He would soften hearts and make a way for peace where there has been strife. We pray for your husband's brother and his wife, that the Lord would deliver them from the bondage of addiction, open their eyes to the destruction it brings, and lead them to repentance and new life in Christ. We pray that the word of reconciliation, which tells us that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing trespasses unto them, would take root in this family.

We ask the Lord for wisdom and for justice to be satisfied. As the Scriptures teach, when justice is satisfied it cannot ask for more, and God can be just and yet the justifier. We pray that what is right and lawful concerning this earthly inheritance would be done with honesty and equity, and that both brothers would be led to an agreement that honors the Lord and respects what has been entrusted to them. If it is the Lord's will to bring about a sale, we pray He would move the brother's heart to agree, and grant you and your husband guidance, counsel and favor in every needful step.

We also pray for your husband as you seek to support him. The pain of being the unfavored child leaves a deep mark, but we remember that those who are in Christ belong to one whole family in heaven and earth, beloved in the bosom of God and heirs of the same blessed inheritance. That heavenly inheritance is exceedingly broad, far greater than any earthly house or land, secured not by the title deeds of men but by the covenant of God in Christ. When we first come to Christ by faith we enter into pardon of sin and all things become ours in Him. May your husband know that comfort, that though earthly favor has failed him, he is fully loved and chosen in the family of God, and that the Lord will not forget His own.

May the Lord sustain you both, guard your home in prayer, and keep you from bitterness. We pray that family prayer would be your strength and that you would continue to cast all your care upon Him who cares for you. May He give you patience, gentleness and steadfastness to respond with grace while still seeking what is just, and may He turn this trial into a testimony of His redeeming power.

Father, hear this cry. Bring conviction where there is sin, bring deliverance where there is addiction, bring softness where there is hardness, and bring peace where there is division. Grant wisdom to all involved and let Your will be done, for Your glory and for the good of this family. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and our peace. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Father in the name of Jesus, for He alone is our High Priest who has made reconciliation for us and who purges our sins by Himself and sits at the right hand of the Majesty on high to intercede for us.

I hear how heavy this is for you and for your husband. To love a family home and then to have to leave it because of harassment and slander and gossip is painful. To watch that same home be broken down by addiction while you are powerless to act because the law requires both heirs to agree is a deep frustration. And the older wound you describe, of favoritism from childhood that continues into this dispute over your late parents house, makes the present unfairness feel even sharper. It is right that you bring all of this to God, for He sees what is done in secret and He hears the cry of those who seek justice with a humble heart.

We do not pray as those without hope, for the Gospel is good tidings of removal of punishment and remission of sins and adoption and an inheritance in heaven. Scripture reminds us that Christ has been appointed heir of all things, and that our true inheritance is not in walls and land which decay, but in Him. That does not make your earthly loss small, but it does anchor your husband's heart when he feels overlooked and unloved. God did not overlook him. In Christ he is fully seen and fully loved, even when a brother has always seemed to receive more.

I will pray with you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Your Son who offered Himself for us, hear this wife and her husband in their distress. You know the history of this family, the favoritism and selfishness that has wounded them since childhood, and the present conflict over this house. Grant wisdom to this husband and wife as they seek a just and peaceful resolution. Soften the heart of the brother and his wife, free them from the power of addiction, and bring them to repentance and to wholeness. Where there has been slander and gossip and harassment, bring conviction and truth and restraint. Where there has been damage to what was entrusted to them, bring a desire to steward well what remains.

Lord, comfort this husband who feels the pain of being the unfavored son. Heal the old wound and remind him that his worth and his inheritance are secure in Christ. Give his wife grace as she supports him, that she may be a helper who speaks truth with gentleness and who does not return evil for evil. Lead them to wise and godly counsel for the legal and practical steps concerning the house, and keep them from bitterness. Let them seek first Your righteousness and Your peace, and trust You with the outcome, whether the house is sold or You provide another way.

We ask for reconciliation where it is possible, and for clear boundaries where it is needed for protection. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in how this is resolved. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone is our salvation and our peace. Amen.

Continue to support your husband in prayer and in quiet steadiness. Encourage him to not answer slander with slander, but to commit his cause to God who judges justly. Seek wise counsel from a pastor and, if needed, from a trusted legal advisor about how to handle a jointly owned property, so that you act both lawfully and lovingly. And keep setting your hope not only on the sale of an earthly house, but on the heavenly inheritance which Christ keeps undefiled for those who are His. God is near to the brokenhearted and He will not abandon those who call upon Him in truth.
