Trying to make a friend

I feel really, really, stupid for asking about this but - I have been trying to ask a college classmate that I have been getting along with for a while now if she and I could become friends. I'm not scared or insecure at all about asking her her as I am naturally extroverted, but it seems like every time I try to ask her, some task or event gets in the way preventing me from asking her, and then when I I look for her - she's gone. It's really weird. We only share one more class together next Wednesday, which means I will get only one more day to ask her. I feel really stupid asking you guys of this but -  can you pray with me that God may give me the opportunity to ask her if we could be friends before I never see her again?
