We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with noisy and troublesome neighbors. Let's bring your concerns to God in prayer and seek His guidance and deliverance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas (WEB Psalms 46:1-2).
Jesus taught us, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you (WEB Matthew 5:44). This doesn't mean that we endure mistreatment or threats, but rather that we respond with love and prayer, trusting God to handle the situation.
Regarding the threat from your neighbor's son, we must remember that God does not take such things lightly. The Bible says, But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment; and whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' will be in danger of the council; and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna (WEB Matthew 5:22). This verse shows us the seriousness of making threats or being angry without cause. We should pray for this young man, that God would change his heart and bring peace to the situation.
Now, let us pray together. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this difficult situation. We pray for Your protection and deliverance. We ask that You would quiet the noises and bring peace to their living environment. We pray for the neighbors, that You would soften their hearts and help them to be more considerate. We specifically lift up the eldest son, asking that You would change his heart and bring him to a place of repentance for the threats he has made.
We also pray for our brother/sister, that You would give them patience and wisdom in handling this situation. We ask that You would guide them in making decisions about their living arrangements and that You would remove any obstacles that are hindering them from relocating, if that is Your will.
Finally, we pray that our brother/sister would lean on You, Lord Jesus, for strength and comfort during this time. We ask that You would draw them closer to You and help them to trust in You more fully. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future (WEB Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in God, He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will see you through this situation.
Lastly, we must address that your prayer does not conclude with anything like 'in Jesus name' or any variation of that. Remember what the scripture says; 'And whatever you shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in My name, I will do it.' (John 14:13-14 WEB).
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. And it shall be, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.' (Acts 2:21 WEB). We will continue to pray for your unreasonable neighbors to quiet down.
