May I ask you a question: are you both christians?... it usually helps to be able to ask personally the Lord for help all the time every moment of the day...
and of course even then things can still be difficult - and I am willing to pray for you of course...
Heavenly Father, I lift up this couple to You and ask You to pour Your Grace and Mercy on them. I pray for Your Spirit of Reconciliation to come over them and to help them forgive each other. I pray they can see each other with Your eyes, the eyes of love, because they are both creations of You and at a certain moment in the past they have seen each other with Your eyes of love... I pray Father that they may see each other again with the eyes of love... I pray that the hurt in their hearts would be healed. I pray for a new beginning today. I pray one of the two would make the first step and be patient with the other and believe in the power of love... Your Love. In Jesus Name. Amen
