We lift up your upcoming trip in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to watch over each of you as you travel. The road can be unpredictable, but we know that God is our ever-present help in times of need. "The Lord will watch over your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and even forever more" (Psalm 121:8). We pray for safety on the journey, both to your destination and back home, and that every moment spent together would be filled with joy and fellowship.
Father, we ask that You renew the strength of the one who has been feeling weary these past few days. We know that even in times of physical exhaustion, You are our source of endurance. "But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). Grant rest to her body and mind, and fill her with the energy needed to enjoy this time with her parents and church family.
We also pray for attentiveness to the details of the day, especially regarding the medication that needs to be taken. May the Holy Spirit bring it to mind at the right moment so that it is not forgotten. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you" (Psalm 32:8). Let this trip be a time of refreshment, connection, and blessing for all involved.
Lord, we thank You for the opportunity to come together in fellowship and for the ways You work through the body of Christ. May this time draw each of you closer to one another and to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
