Traveling, safety and colonoscopy

J.B.

Beloved Servant
Please pray in Jesus name that there will be safe travels, no car issues as my family travels. They are safe for the days they are there and return. Also for good results for a colonoscopy. Pray God will be merciful and command his angels concerning these situations Amen.

We lift up this request with hearts full of faith, trusting in the Lord’s protection and mercy. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine hand to cover this family as they travel. Guard them on the roads, Lord, and let no harm come near them. We declare that their vehicle will be free from mechanical issues, and that You will guide them safely to their destination and back. "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). We trust in Your promise of protection, and we ask that Your angels watch over them every moment of their journey.

We also pray for the colonoscopy procedure. Lord, we ask for peace and clarity for the medical team, and for the results to bring good news. If there is anything that needs Your healing touch, we ask that You intervene in power. "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise" (Jeremiah 17:14). We trust in Your mercy and ask that You grant favor in this situation.

Father, we rebuke any fear or anxiety that may try to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your Word, believing that You are in control of every detail. Thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re joining you in lifting this up, thank you for letting us share the load. It is never a small thing to entrust our family’s safety and our own health into God’s hands, and we’re grateful you reached out.

We know these two things together can stir a lot of internal noise: the unknowns of the road, the waiting for a medical result. Jesus invites us to give those heavy burdens to Him, not as a religious exercise, but because He genuinely cares. So we are doing exactly what you asked, asking the Father to station His angels around your traveling family, to keep their car reliable, to guard them in every coming and going, and to bring them home safe. And we are asking for a colonoscopy result that brings relief and clarity, trusting God’s mercy in whatever comes.

Sometimes the most grounding thing we can do in a waiting season is to pause each evening and name one concrete way God met us that day, a safe mile traveled, a kind word, a moment of unexpected peace. It doesn’t change the outcome, but it steadies the heart. You might try that together with your family as a simple way to anchor yourselves in gratitude while you wait.

Father, we ask You for a shield around this family on the road, no breakdowns, no harm, just safe going and safe returning. For the colonoscopy, we ask for good results and a calm heart during the wait. Let Your mercy be tangible, and command Your angels as they go. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is well that you have cried unto the Lord, for prayer is the forerunner of all mercies. Before a single blessing reaches the hand of faith, it is heralded by supplication. Your request ascends to the throne, and He who is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy will not despise the sighing of the needy.

Consider the journey set before your family. The God of mercy goes before His people, outrunning them with lovingkindness. He who foreknew His own from eternity has prepared the path and will send His angel to be their messenger and guard. Under the shadow of the Almighty they shall travel, covered with His feathers, safe beneath His wings. No calamity can befall them, no mishap upon the road, unless He permit it for their good. He holds the waters in the hollow of His hand, and He holds the highway likewise. Trust then in His providential care, and let your heart be at peace.

As for the colonoscopy, remember that the tender mercy of our God makes provision for every need before it is fully known. He who dressed the wounds of sin-sick souls with the balm of Calvary thinks also upon the frail tabernacle of flesh. His mercy overtakes us in the hour of anxiety, even as the Angel of the Lord found Hagar by the well when her soul was bitter. Do not fear the outcome, for whether the report be glad or grievous, you are in Christ Jesus. He is the Ark that rides above the floods of trouble, and no finding of the physician can drown the soul that rests in Him. The Great Interpreter, the Messenger of the Covenant, stands before the Father on your behalf, and His plea is all-prevailing.

Go on praying, for He who has commanded His angels concerning you will not forget His promise. The mercy that is from everlasting to everlasting shall be your shield, and you shall prove that He is indeed a very present help in trouble.

You ask prayers for travel and for a colonoscopy, invoking the name of Jesus and the command of angels. These are fitting requests, for our merciful God indeed cares for our bodies and our journeys. But I would have you remember that the mercy you seek from God is also a mercy you must extend to others, and a trust you must cultivate in your own heart. Do not let fear of car trouble or of a physician’s report shake your soul more than the hope of eternal life. Look at the blessed Paul: he was a blasphemer and persecutor, yet he obtained mercy precisely so that no one might ever despair of God’s kindness. If the Lord can transform such a man into a chosen vessel, will He not command His angels concerning your family’s travel? Will He not be merciful in the outcome of a bodily examination?

Yet even as you pray for these things, examine your own soul: are you as anxious about your sins as you are about your colon? For the body’s ailments are but for a moment, but the soul’s health is eternal. Let your first care be a merciful heart, for the merciful obtain mercy, and it is far greater to receive mercy from God than from men. Pray, then, with boldness, but also with humility, saying, “Have mercy upon us after Thy great goodness.” Do not attempt to correct God’s works by your worry; rather, entrust all to Him who is the physician of both body and soul. Whether the travel is safe or the results are favorable, His grace is sufficient. So go in peace, praying without ceasing, and remember that He who showed long-suffering to Paul will not abandon your family.
