Let us pray that God will protect my travel (going and returning) from all accidents and problems, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will give me wisdom, grace and blessing at my meeting with my business partner. Let us pray that God will put kindness in the heart of my business partner. Let us pray that Heavenly Father will give me wisdom and guidance, which products and in what quantities to buy. Let us pray that God will give me good success and show mercy to the business He has given me for my livelihood, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Grant him safety and peace on the road and bring him home safely according to Your mercy. Father, we ask that You pour out wisdom, grace and blessing upon his meeting with his business partner. Your request has been heard and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We will pray that the Lord will keep you in your going out and your coming in. There is a promise that greatly comforts the traveller who walks in appointed ways, for it is written that He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. He who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection. May you go and return under that divine keeping, preserved from accident and harm and from every snare by the way. This protection is both personal and perpetual to those who wait upon God and dare not lean upon their own understanding, but ask the Lord to guide them. We entreat the Lord to set His watch about you tomorrow and to bring you home in peace.
We will pray also that the Lord, who is Himself the wisdom of God, will be your wisdom in all your business. Wisdom is the compass by which a man is to steer across the trackless waste of life, and without it we are as those who run here and there wasting strength which might be profitably employed. You have asked well for wisdom and grace and blessing at your meeting, and for kindness to be put in the heart of your partner. Divine Wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites us to run into her arms, and when we bow with submission to the will of God we are furnished with unerring guidance. May the Lord infuse in you principles of faith and humility and contentment, and teach you to avoid everything that is evil, so that your words and dealings may be seasoned with grace and truth.
For your business itself we will pray that you may make your own business to be your Father's business, for then you will do your business well. When a man seeks first to do all the will of God, his common calling becomes a holy calling. We will ask the Heavenly Father to give you clear guidance what products and in what quantities to buy, to keep you from haste which is the author of a great deal of mischief, and to lead you in sobriety and prudence. Remember that holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity, and the man who trusts in the Lord shall find that trust to be true wisdom.
May the Lord show you mercy and give you good success, not for your own exaltation alone but that your livelihood may be sustained and your life may bring glory to Him who planned the way of salvation and who daily loads us with benefits. We commend your journey, your meeting, your buying and selling, and your return to Him whose will ought to be done on earth as it is in Heaven, for what He does is always best.
