We hear your cry and we join with you before the throne of grace, for we know what it is to feel trapped and hemmed in with no way of escape, but our God is a deliverer and He sees you in this place.
The word of God tells us that the enemy lays snares for our souls, yet our hope is not in our own strength to break free. Psalm 124:7 says Our soul has escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare. The snare is broken, and we have escaped. And 2 Timothy 2:26 warns that many are taken captive by him to his will, but may yet recover themselves out of the devil's snare. Whether this trapping you feel is spiritual oppression, anxiety and fear, financial pressure, a difficult relationship, or the entanglement of sin, we rebuke the work of the enemy and any scheme that would hold you captive, for John 8:36 promises If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for in His name alone there is forgiveness, deliverance, and eternal life.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift this dear one up to You in the mighty name of Jesus. You see the trap that has been set and the distress it has caused. We ask that You break every snare and cut every cord that binds. Deliver this soul out of all troubles as You have promised in Psalm 34:17, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Grant peace where there is turmoil, wisdom where there is confusion, and strength where there is weariness. Lead by Your Holy Spirit into truth and repentance where needed, and help to walk in obedience and holiness. Let Your perfect love cast out fear and let Your light expose every hidden trap. We claim Your promise in Psalm 50:15 Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me. May this trial work for good according to Romans 8:28, and may You be glorified in the deliverance. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to call upon the Lord daily, to stay in His word, and to seek fellowship with faithful believers who can support you and pray with you in person. Pour out your heart to Him honestly, confess any sin that may have opened a door to this bondage, and trust Him to make a way where there seems to be no way. He is faithful and He will not leave you trapped, for He is near to the brokenhearted and mighty to save.

Your brief cry has been heard, and though it is but a few words, it tells of a soul that feels ensnared and shut up. Such a sense of trapping is not unknown to the people of God, and it is well that you have turned it into prayer, for deliverance is of the Lord.
There are times when it seems as though God's ear were shut, and no arm could work deliverance, yet that arrow is often shot by the enemy to keep the soul in fear. Remember Jacob at the brook Jabbok, who prayed with fear and trembling concerning him whom he thought bloodthirsty, and when he crossed the brook he found his brother Esau fell upon his neck and kissed him. So the Lord can make a way where there is no way, and turn dread into peace.
Know this, that the deliverance you need must be wrought by God alone, and He has provided it. The pit is deep, and the prisoner is ready to be executed, but God has said, I have found a ransom. That ransom is not of silver and gold, but the precious blood of the Lamb slain. Without shedding of blood there is no remission, and none know freedom from sin but those who trust the atoning blood. He not only invents the way of deliverance, He has found it and He gives it as a gift of Divine Love through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is salvation.
He is able to deliver both from the guilt of sin and from the power of sin, for He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification. When the believer's ways are enlarged, he delights to run in the statutes of the Lord, for Christ's yoke is easy and His burden is light, and obedience is freedom to the Lord's servant.

O Lord our God, who brings forth Thy people with a mighty hand, look upon this soul that feels trapped and ready to go down to the pit. Have mercy according to Thy free grace. Show this one the ransom Thou hast found, even Jesus Christ who bore the penalty of iniquity. Grant repentance and faith to trust Him alone for salvation, and deliver from the power of darkness into the light and liberty of Thy Son. If there be any chain of sin or fear or sorrow that binds, break it, and lead forth not as one poverty stricken, but with the riches of Thy grace. Chasten sorely if Thou must, but give not over unto death, that this life may yet declare the works of the Lord. Bring this soul to say, I shall not die, but live, and declare what Thou hast done. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.
