We lift up this group of tourists and their excursion to the Lord, asking for His divine protection and guidance over every detail of their journey. The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We pray that God’s presence would go before them, surrounding them with His peace and safety.
Father, we ask that You would watch over their travels, their accommodations, and every interaction they have. Keep them from harm, accidents, or any form of danger, and grant them joy in their experiences. May their hearts be filled with gratitude for Your provision, and may they return home safely, reflecting on the goodness of Your care.
We also pray that this excursion would be an opportunity for them to see Your hand at work in the world around them. If any among them do not yet know You, Lord, draw them close and reveal Yourself to them. Let this time away be more than just a trip, but a chance to encounter Your love and truth.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

As you finish preparing tonight, maybe take a few extra minutes to walk through the schedule in your mind and simply release each piece to Him, the weather, the vehicle, your own energy, and the attitude of every client. Then go into the morning confident that you’ve done your part and God is already there ahead of you. He delights in work done with integrity, and your desire for glad clients reflects that.

It is a grand thing to feel that God's Throne might sooner fail than that a saint can perish, for His Throne, itself, is established in righteousness! This petition for a simple excursion is not too small for His notice. We must trace Divine Sovereignty in all such cases, there is no attribute more comforting. He who numbers the hairs of your head and watches the sparrow's fall can certainly keep a group of tourists under His wings. The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish, and the low tree shall mount even to the stars; how much more shall He order the steps of those who look to Him amid a day's journeying?
You need an infinite Friend to keep you in safety against all adversities, and you have wisely asked the only wise God our Savior. Our safety lies in our Savior, "God our Savior." How strikingly has God delivered some of us! What remarkable preservations of life have we enjoyed; not miraculous, certainly, but full of wonder for all that. This protection is perpetual as well as personal. Divine interpositions come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble, yet also in the way of obedience to Divine precepts. The way of principle is the way of safety; God's angels will keep you if you keep to that road. Doing what God tells you, as God tells you, no hurt can come to you.
But see the fullness of the prayer, that only glad clients may result. The presence of God dissolves difficulties. When He comes, the mountains flow down at His feet like glaciers in the summer's sun. If it pleases Him, He can make the entire affair a divine surprise of joy, for His gentleness makes us great. There is a safety of spirit that lifts us above fretting circumstance, and a divine work which is nothing less than a continuous miracle to keep us from falling into fretfulness or mishap. There is the safety of my spirit, that is the heart of it.
You may hope that the Divine Spirit will display His power in this small thing to the glory of His grace. Plead with Him to do so, and look for His hand. Conscious of Divine authority, we may yet look sin and error in the face, but in a matter of honest travel, we may simply trust. He Himself is the one hope of His people. And when He saves us from even little troubles, there is no quarrel, then, with the Divine Savior! Glory be to God, all granted to you by Divine Grace, simply through believing.
So the prayer is a right one. May the Lord hear and answer, granting a journey not merely safe but seasoned with His presence, and hearts lifted to Him in gratitude. He is able to keep you from falling into any snare and to present the entire day before Him with exceeding gladness. Amen.

You ask that God keep a group of tourists under His wings, so that only glad clients return. It is good to cast every care upon the Lord, for He cares for us. Yet consider what true gladness is, and whose the wings of protection are. The faithful throughout the whole world are one body, and they who pleased God, both before Christ's coming and after, trusted in Him. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see Christ's day, and he saw it and was glad. So I rejoice when I hear of any who seek shelter beneath the Almighty, but let that shelter be more than a hedge against earthly mishap.
The glad tidings we proclaim are not of a carefree excursion only, but of a Saviour who gives Himself. When Timothy brought word of steadfast faith and love, Paul called it glad tidings, for love is the sign of faith. Longing for one another in the Lord, we bear good remembrance. So I would have your tourists not merely safe in body, but bearing good remembrance of their Creator, walking in obedience. For the Lord gives the word to them that proclaim glad tidings with great power, and that word calls all to repentance and life.
If then you desire God to keep them under His wings, see that they themselves desire to abide there. The wings of God are stretched over those who fear Him, who keep His commandments. Let their gladness not be in a day without trouble, but in hearts at peace through righteousness. For even if grief comes for a season, the Lord can make it yield a harvest of joy that benefits forever. Pray therefore not only for smooth roads and pleased faces, but that these souls may taste the true gladness that flows from Christ. Then, whatever befalls the excursion, they shall return glad indeed, and you with them.

It's good that you're bringing this before the Lord. Asking Him to shelter a whole group under His wings shows you understand where real safety is found. We can make every practical plan, check every detail, yet the Scriptures remind us that the horse is prepared for the day of battle, but safety belongs to the Lord. So we do well to commit tomorrow's excursion entirely into His hands.
That image of being kept under His wings is a precious one. It speaks of both warmth and unshakable defense, His truth will be your shield and buckler. Whatever the day brings, the hidden place of abiding in Christ is where fear loses its grip. He carries us; we don't need to carry a heavy burden of worry.
