We hear your heartfelt request for God’s protection and blessing over the tourists on tomorrow’s excursion, and we join you in lifting them up in prayer. It is wonderful that you desire safety, favor, and God’s covering over them as they travel. The blood of Jesus is indeed our greatest protection, and we stand on that truth as we pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would go before these tourists, surrounding them with Your angels and shielding them from all harm. Protect them from accidents, illness, and any form of danger, whether seen or unseen. Let Your peace guard their hearts and minds as they travel, and may they experience Your presence in a tangible way. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we plead the blood of Jesus over every aspect of their journey, over their transportation, their activities, and their interactions with one another.
Lord, we also pray for Your favor to rest upon this travel agency. May the tourists return with testimonies of Your goodness, sharing only positive words about their experience. Let their hearts be filled with gratitude, and may their praise bring glory to Your name. We ask that You would bless the efforts of this agency, that it may be a light in the tourism industry, reflecting Your love and integrity in all it does.
Father, we recognize that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son. We pray that these tourists would come to know You more deeply if they do not already, and that their travels would draw them closer to You. May this excursion be more than just a trip, may it be an opportunity for them to see Your hand at work in their lives.
We also want to encourage you, as the one leading this prayer, to remember that God delights in our dependence on Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Your desire to see God’s blessing on this excursion is a reflection of your faith, and we believe He will honor that.

Consider the covering you seek. You pray for the blood to cover these tourists in their excursion, that no harm befall them and that your agency receive good commendation. This is a covering many crave, a shield of circumstance, a garment woven of worldly safety and reputation. But is this the covering that the blood of Jesus was shed to procure? Look well to your request. The blood of Christ has a voice, and it speaks better things than the blood of Abel. It does not cry from the ground for temporal protection or the praise of men. It speaks before the throne of God, and its plea is for the remission of sin, the cleansing of the guilty soul, and the covering of nakedness before divine justice. A man may make a covering for himself, but it is often narrower than he can wrap himself in; it may reach his head or his feet, but it leaves his soul exposed. Good comments and safe journeys are a poor garment when the storm of eternal wrath arises.
The blood of Jesus is the only covering broad enough to hide all our sin, deep enough to cleanse every stain, and enduring enough to present us faultless before the presence of His glory. Without the shedding of this blood, there is no remission. Yet with it, there is remission, full, free, and forever. Do not mistake the secondary benefits of providence for the primary purpose of the atonement. I would not have you despise the common mercies of God, nor slight His watchful care over our daily paths. But I tremble lest you make the precious blood a mere charm for business success, as if it were a talisman to secure temporal ease and human applause. That is to make a covering narrower than the soul requires. God may grant safety and good report according to His will, but these are not the substance of the covenant. The sweetest note the redeemed sing is not of earthly profit, but of sins forgiven, "I am washed in the blood of the Lamb! I am delivered, clean delivered from every sin!"
What is your covering? Is it the seamless robe of Christ's righteousness, dyed in His own blood, which alone can hide your iniquities from the eye of a holy God? Or are you seeking a covering only for the body and the business, while leaving the soul naked to judgment? The blood of sprinkling does not cry out for a prosperous trade; it cries, "Mercy, free, boundless mercy!" for the chief of sinners. Seek then this blessedness, that your transgressions are covered by God, that your sin is not imputed. This is the true safety, the only safety worth having; for he who is washed in that precious blood is kept from falling and shall be presented with exceeding joy. Let your customers be safe if it pleases the Lord, but let your own spirit be soaked in this far greater truth: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and that He is able to keep you from falling, not into financial ruin, but into that far deeper pit from which none can deliver. Look to the blood that cleanses and to the righteousness that covers. Seek it, friend, seek it. It is to be found only in Him.

You ask for protection and favorable reports, but examine well the foundation of this request. It is good to pray in every undertaking, for the Apostle commands, "Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." To call upon the Name of the Lord is to make all things auspicious. Truly, where the Name of Christ is placed, there is safety. If it casts out demons and heals diseases, much more does it render your business easy. But take heed: you seek good comments from tourists, and this desire springs from a root that must be tested. Is it for the honor of God that you crave their praise, or for the enlargement of your own reputation? The Lord Himself said, "How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another?" The one who is a slave to vainglory commits no light sin; it is the cause of all evils, and the one entangled in it is in worse state than many fornicators. Do not set your heart on the applause of men, which withers like grass, but on the incorruptible crown.
The Blood of Jesus is precious indeed, but it is not a charm to be invoked for worldly prosperity alone. It cleanses the soul from sin and reconciles us to God. If you would have that Blood cover your excursion, then let it first cover your heart. Are you walking in holiness and sobriety? Do you flee from the devil's craft, who lurks on the narrow way to cast you down? Travel the path of righteousness with fear and confidence, for Jesus is your guide. To him who is conscious of no evil, no lasting harm shall befall; the one who abides in Christ enters into the pasture of true security and none can thrust him out. But if you slumber even a little while, swept away you will be.
Entrust these tourists to God, yes, but with a right spirit. Pray for their bodily safety, but still more for their souls. Seek not only that no accident befall them, but that they give thanks to God in all things, before and after every action. If they speak well of your agency, let it be because they have witnessed your integrity and the fear of God in you, not because you angled for flattery. The Lord knows what reports are truly good; He looks upon the heart. Do your business as a succorer of many, as one who receives strangers for the Lord's sake, and the Lord will be your reward. Will you not rather have His "well done" than the fleeting praise of man?
