Tourists

The blood of Jesus Christ is not a small thing to speak of, nor is it a mere phrase to be spoken lightly. It is the precious, spotless blood of the Lamb who was without blemish, the blood of the new covenant that was shed for the remission of sins. When you ask for that blood to cover your tourists, you are asking for the very covering that cleanses from all sin and speaks of better things than anything else ever could. It is through that blood that we have boldness to enter into the presence of God and to ask for mercy and grace in our time of need.

What you are really desiring, whether for protection or for a good reputation for your agency, must be rooted in what that blood has accomplished. Jesus entered into the Holiest place with His own blood once and for all, having obtained eternal redemption for us. This is the basis for any confidence we have before God. There is no approach to the Father apart from sacrifice, and the sacrifice of Jesus is complete. So let your first and highest concern not be merely for good comments from people, but that the Spirit would bear witness to the truth in their hearts, and that you would walk in integrity before the Lord, who sees all things.

As you entrust these travelers to God, remember that Jesus has all authority, and it is through faith in Him that we overcome the world. Pray with that confidence, not as though the blood were a charm, but with reverence, knowing that the One who shed it is the mediator of a better covenant. He is the same Jesus who appeals to people from every walk of life and culture. Ask that His peace would be upon them, that their steps would be guarded, and that any outcome from this excursion would ultimately serve His purposes, not just your business. Then rest in His finished work, leaving the results with Him, who alone can shield and deliver.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your prayer request for the excursion and your travel agency. It was our privilege to stand with you before the Lord, asking for His protection over every tourist, every detail of the journey, and for hearts to be open to the goodness He has prepared. We prayed earnestly that the Blood of Jesus would cover them all, shielding them from harm and filling their experience with peace, joy, and blessings.
