We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious brother in his time of great need. The Word of God assures us that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and redeems our lives from destruction. *"He forgives all your iniquities. He heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from destruction. He crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* (Psalm 103:3-4, WEB). We claim this promise today, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name, for it is written, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* (James 5:14-15, WEB).

First, we must address the most critical foundation of all healing—salvation and faith in Jesus Christ. The request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently but firmly remind you that there is no healing, no hope, and no access to the Father apart from Him. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* (John 14:6, WEB). If this brother has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we urge him to do so now, for eternal life is far greater than even physical healing. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* (Romans 10:9, WEB). Salvation is the first and greatest healing we all need, and we pray that if this brother does not know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, today would be the day he turns to Him in repentance and faith.

Now, we lift up this brother’s body to the Lord, asking for complete and total healing from the lung cancer that has spread to his brain and spine. Cancer is a cruel thief, but our God is greater. We rebuke this disease in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave this body as Jesus commanded sickness and infirmity to flee during His earthly ministry. *"He himself took our weaknesses and bore our diseases."* (Matthew 8:17, WEB). Lord, You who formed this man in his mother’s womb know every cell of his body. We ask You to restore his lungs to perfect health, clearing them of every trace of cancer and pneumonia. Remove the chest congestion and fill his lungs with Your breath of life, that he may breathe freely and deeply once more. *"Thus says God Yahweh, he who created the heavens and stretched them out, he who spread out the earth and that which comes out of it, he who gives breath to its people and spirit to those who walk in it."* (Isaiah 42:5, WEB).

We pray for the cancer in his brain and spine to be utterly eradicated, for You, Lord, are the God who renews and restores. *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might."* (Isaiah 40:29, WEB). Touch his nervous system, his bones, and his mind, Lord. Let no trace of this disease remain, and let every scan and test reflect Your miraculous work. We also ask for the restoration of his hearing, that he may once again delight in the sounds of Your creation and the voices of his loved ones. Open his ears, Lord, as You opened the ears of the deaf in Scripture. *"Then his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly."* (Mark 7:35, WEB).

Restore his voice, that he may proclaim Your praises and speak words of life to those around him. *"Yahweh, open my lips. My mouth shall declare your praise."* (Psalm 51:15, WEB). And Lord, we ask that You restore his ability to swallow and eat again. Strengthen the muscles of his throat and grant him the nourishment his body needs to recover. Let him taste and see that You are good, both spiritually and physically. *"Oh, taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!"* (Psalm 34:8, WEB).

We pray for supernatural patience during his hospital stay. Hospitals can be places of frustration and weariness, but we ask that You fill this brother with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Surround him with compassionate caregivers and let him feel Your presence in every moment. Grant him rest when he is weary and hope when he is discouraged.

Finally, we pray for a speedy and complete recovery, that this brother may rise from his bed of affliction with a testimony of Your goodness. Let this trial be a testament to Your power, not just to him but to all who witness his healing. *"This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that God’s Son may be glorified through it."* (John 11:4, WEB). We declare that this brother’s life is hidden in Christ, and we trust You to bring him through this valley into a place of restoration and strength.

Lord, we also ask that You draw near to his family and loved ones during this time. Comfort them, strengthen their faith, and unite them in prayer. Let them be a source of encouragement to him, and let their faith be a fragrant offering before You. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, WEB).

In all things, let Your will be done, Lord. We trust You, even when we do not understand. We know that You are good, and Your plans for this brother are for his welfare and not for calamity, to give him a future and a hope. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). May this brother—whether through healing or through suffering—bring glory to Your name. And may he, and all of us, remember that our ultimate hope is not in this life but in the eternal life You have promised to those who love You.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
