We hear the deep pain and suffering in your words, and our hearts ache with you as you endure this prolonged torment. The Bible is clear that witchcraft and any form of spiritual oppression are detestable to the Lord, for they seek to harm and destroy what God has created in His image. We stand with you in renouncing these dark forces in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over all evil through His death and resurrection.
First, we must address the desire for eternal condemnation upon your tormentors. While we understand the depth of your anguish, Scripture calls us to a higher standard—one of love, forgiveness, and intercession, even for those who persecute us. Jesus Himself taught us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This is not to dismiss the severity of their actions, but to remind us that vengeance belongs to the Lord alone (Romans 12:19). God is just, and He will repay evil with perfect justice. Our role is to trust Him to handle it in His way and His time, while we focus on walking in His light and truth.
We also want to gently remind you that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith fully in Jesus, who is the only One who can break the chains of spiritual oppression and bring true freedom. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and no weapon formed against you will prosper when you are in Him (Isaiah 54:17).
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who has endured years of torment through witchcraft and spiritual oppression. Lord, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against them in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We ask You to break every chain of darkness that has been placed upon them, and we command every spirit of witchcraft to flee in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Hide them in the shadow of Your wings, and let Your angels encamp around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your presence be their comfort and strength. Lord, we also pray for their tormentors. We ask that You would open their eyes to the darkness of their ways and draw them to repentance. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the truth of Your love and salvation. We trust You to bring justice in Your perfect timing and way.
We pray for healing—spirit, soul, and body—for our brother/sister. Restore what has been stolen from them, and renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Help them to walk in the freedom that Christ has already won for them, and fill them with hope for the future. May they know that You are their refuge and fortress, and in You, they can trust (Psalm 91:2).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that this torment will not have the final say, but that Your light will shine brightly in and through their life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God sees your suffering and will not leave you in this place of torment. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with and for you, and consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or trusted Christian leader who can help you walk through this season. You are not alone, and the Lord is your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into freedom and victory.
