Tonight, my mother, Janie, is at the ER or in the hospital (if they have admitted her). She called the hospital after taking her blood pressure and finding it to be 200/120. She had a mini-stroke on the 1st of Nov. but didn't let anyone know because she didn't want to go to the hospital nor did she want to end up in a nursing home...she went to the doctor the following day. She is 84.

Mom was not admitted to the hospital; the ER got her B/P down to a reasonable number and then sent her home.
