Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer has been taken to heart and I have been praying with you. I hear how heavy this has been, the longing for healing in your tongue, mouth and tonsils, the fear when you think about cancer or a tumor, and the discouragement of seeing the white coating return after you thought you had been healed. It is understandable that your soul feels unsettled, and Jesus invites you to bring that very anxiety to Him.
Scripture speaks of how small the tongue is and yet how great its influence. A tiny flame can set a whole forest ablaze, and in the same way the tongue carries great power. It can wound and it can heal. Its highest and most beautiful purpose is to bless God and give Him praise. That you long to speak freely again is a good and God given desire, to use your mouth to praise Him and to encourage others, and He understands that longing.
Even when speaking is difficult or painful, God still hears you. When words fail or are limited by sickness, your spirit can still commune with Him. He hears the mysteries and deep cries of the heart that others may not understand, and speaking to Him in prayer builds you up inwardly. The same tongue that feels afflicted now is the tongue He created to be a source of life, like a tree of life when it is wholesome and speaks what is good and healing.
God has not turned away from your affliction. He has not hidden His face from you in this suffering but hears when you cry out to Him. His eyes are on those who trust Him and His ears are open to their cry. That is why you do not need to be held by dread. To fear the Lord is to live in reverent awe of who He is, His greatness and His mercy, rather than living in terror of what might happen. He is your light and your salvation, the strength of your life. When you remember that He is with you, fear can give way to trust and your soul can be calmed even while you wait for answers.
I am praying for you specifically, that the Lord would calm your heart with His peace, that He would bring complete healing to your tongue, mouth and tonsils for His glory, that there would be no cancer or tumor found, and that the white coating and the white lesion on your tonsils would disappear. I am asking Him to restore your ability to speak freely and to use your voice again to praise Him and to be encouraged yourself. I also pray He will give you wisdom and guide those who can examine and treat you medically, so that you have clear answers and good care.
Keep bringing every fear and every symptom to Jesus honestly. Use what strength you have now to bless Him, even in simple short prayers of thanksgiving, and let Him guard your tongue and your heart. He is able to heal, He is near to you in this trial, and He can use even this hard season to show His mercy and power. May He grant you peace, healing, and a renewed voice to declare His goodness. In Jesus name, amen.
