Jesus, please calm my soul and heal my tongue, mouth and tonsils. Let it be for Your glory.


Please pray that there is no cancer or tumour in my mouth or on my tonsils.


Please pray that there is no white coating on the sides of my tongue. In Jesus' name, amen.


Unfortunately, the white coating has returned, but it seemed like I was healed.


Please pray that the white lesion on my tonsils disappears, that I am healed, and that I can speak freely.

We join with you in bringing your tongue, mouth and tonsils before the Lord, and we ask Him to calm your soul even as you wait for healing, that all would be for His glory.

We understand how distressing it is when symptoms return after you thought you were healed, and how fear can rise when you worry about cancer or tumors. We want to remind you that the Lord sees your affliction and hears your cry. He is the One who heals us, as it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3, and I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.

We also hear your longing for peace in your soul. The Lord invites us to bring every anxiety to Him, for it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. And He says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We lift you up together now in prayer.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that through Him we have access to Your throne of grace. We bring our dear one to You who is suffering with disease of the tongue and tonsils. Lord, You know the white coating on the sides of the tongue and the white lesion on the tonsils, You know the fear of cancer or tumors, and You know the desire to speak freely again. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch the mouth, the tongue and the tonsils and bring complete healing. Let every white coating and every lesion disappear, let there be no cancer and no tumor found, and let the tissue be restored to wholeness. Calm this soul with Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding, cast out fear, and fill the heart with trust in Your goodness. We ask that this healing would be for Your glory, that with a healed tongue this voice may speak freely of Your mercy. We also ask for wisdom for any physicians involved and for clear answers, and we trust You to guide each step. We pray for strength to persevere in prayer even when symptoms return, remembering that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We thank You that You are near to those who are of a broken heart Psalm 34:18 and that You hear us when we call upon You in Jesus name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to keep bringing your requests to Him with thanksgiving, and to continue to seek wise medical care while trusting that God is able to heal and to use all means for your good. Keep speaking His promises over your life and resting in His presence, for He is faithful and He cares deeply for you.

We have been thinking of you since reading your prayer. Wanting to be free of fear about cancer, checking your tongue and tonsils and seeing that white coating return after you hoped you were healed, that is discouraging and we understand why your soul feels unsettled and why speaking freely matters so much to you.

Living with a lingering mouth issue can wear on anyone. It is understandable to feel anxious when symptoms come and go and to watch closely for any change. That vigilance makes sense, and it also makes rest hard to find.

Alongside our prayers, we encourage you to let a medical professional evaluate what you are seeing soon if you have not already. A primary care doctor, dentist, or ENT can look directly, give you clear information, and guide next steps. Bringing notes about when the coating and lesion appear and fade can help them understand what you are experiencing. We will keep praying while you seek that care.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Calm their soul with Your nearness, ease their fear, and bring healing to their tongue, mouth and tonsils according to Your will. Grant wisdom to those who care for them, show what is needed for health, and restore their voice to speak freely for Your glory. Give peace day by day as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has been heard and carried to the throne of grace, and we join you in seeking the Lord for both calm of soul and healing of body.

The Lord knows the distress that comes with this affliction of the tongue and tonsils, the weary watching for the white coating to return, the fear that rises at the thought of cancer or tumour, and the longing to speak freely again. It is the mind which is the main thing, and anxiety itself unfits us to bear the trial. Therefore hear the word of the Lord, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace is not distant but present, even in this dark world of care, for the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Bear your sorrow with Him and you shall enjoy peace even with sorrows surging round. We exhort you to play the man and let faith overcome fear, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

The Lord says so often to His own, Fear not. Fear not, for I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen at His feet, Fear not. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. Let that fear be removed by the promise, for if you are trusting the Lord Jesus Christ, you may labour to get rid of fear and rest in promised strength. It will be disobedience to be afraid when He has said, Fear not, for I am with you.

We also look to Him as the great Physician. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord, and that peace is the root of all other peace and healing.

Let us pray together for you. O Lord Jesus, You who bore our sicknesses and carried our infirmities, and with whose stripes we are healed, look in mercy upon this suffering one. Calm the soul that is tossed with fear, and keep the mind stayed upon You in perfect peace. Lay Your pardoning and healing hand upon the tongue, the mouth and the tonsils. We ask that for Your glory You would cause the white coating on the sides of the tongue to depart and return no more, and that the white lesion on the tonsils would disappear. We entreat You that there would be found no cancer and no tumour, but that health would be restored so that Your servant may speak freely and give thanks unto You. Grant wisdom to those who give medical care, and help Your child to seek needful help while trusting wholly in You. Let faith come by hearing Your Word, and let the healing power be present as Christ is taught and trusted. We ask this not for our merit but for Your name and for Your glory, in Jesus name, amen.

Continue to stay your mind upon Him, to hear His Word, and to trust Him day by day. Earths struggles shall soon cease, and Jesus calls us to Heavens perfect peace, but even now He keeps in perfect peace those who trust in Him.
