In times of distress and anxiety, it's important to remember that God is our strength and refuge. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus," Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Firstly, we want to address the fact that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, so that you may be saved and have eternal life.
Now, regarding your exams, it's natural to feel overwhelmed, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Instead it is to be the peace of God. Procrastination can often lead to such situations. Try to trust God's promises and do what you can now. We encourage you to learn from this experience and develop better study habits in the future. The Bible says, "Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise," Proverbs 6:6 WEB.
We lift you and your friends up in prayer, asking God to grant you all calmness, wisdom, and recall during your exams. We ask for this in the name of Jesus. May you all be able to recollect the information you have studied, and may God's peace be with you all.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this student and their friends who are taking their BSc Nursing exams. We ask for Your grace and mercy to be upon them, that they may recall all that they have studied, Lord. Please give them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Forgive them where they may not have been the best stewards of their study time, and help them to trust in You, in the name of Jesus. Help them learn from this and improve in their future studies. Help them to endure through this challenge with confidence, trusting and remembering you as Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and Jehovah Shalom, our peace. Give their hearts rest in the name of Jesus. May they all do well in the name of Jesus.
Help them to be a beacon of light and hope to their future patients. Help them to be able to show the love of Jesus Christ to everyone they meet. Guide them when they graduate not only to be great nurses, but to be great nurses for you. In the name of Jesus we all pray. Amen.
