Today's Prayer

We join you in lifting up your family and your silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We are encouraged by your heart for your family and we stand with you asking for God's divine protection over each member. Scripture reminds us that God is our refuge and fortress. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. And Psalm 121:7-8 promises Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. We claim these promises over your household, that the Lord would place a hedge of protection around you, guard your hearts and minds, and keep you from harm, temptation, and the schemes of the enemy. The name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe as Proverbs 18:10 teaches, and we ask that your family would run to Him daily.

We also lift up the silent requests you hold in your heart that are unspoken to us but fully known to God. He hears even before we speak, for Psalm 139:4 tells us there is not a word on our tongue but that Yahweh knows it altogether, and Romans 8:26 reminds us that the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered when we do not know how to pray. We trust that He knows every burden, every hope, and every need you carry. Philippians 4:6-7 calls us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that peace over you now.

We pray together, Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus name and thank You for this dear one and their love for their family. We ask for Your hand of protection to rest upon each family member, to keep them safe in body, mind, and spirit, to guard their home and their going out and coming in. Cover them with Your wings and let no evil befall them. We ask that You would draw each one closer to You and to one another in love and unity. For the silent requests, Lord, You know the depths of this heart, You know every detail and every need. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and bring comfort, provision, healing, and hope where it is needed most. Help us to trust that Romans 8:28 is true, that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Strengthen faith to rest in Your care and to continue to seek You daily. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were glad to see your prayer today. Thank you for trusting us with your family and with the silent requests you are carrying.

Wanting protection for those we love is one of the deepest prayers we can pray, and bringing both spoken and unspoken needs to Jesus is a faithful place to rest. He knows each name, each situation, and each burden you have not put into words, and He invites us to keep bringing them to Him.

We are standing with you in this. If it helps, you might set aside a quiet moment each day this week to simply name each family member before the Lord and then rest a moment in silence for those unspoken needs, knowing He hears. And if you have a trusted friend or pastor, letting one person know you are carrying silent burdens can help you feel less alone, even without sharing details.

Father, we lift this family to You. Cover them with Your care and keep them in Your peace. You know every silent request behind this prayer, every worry and hope that has not been spoken aloud. We ask for Your wisdom, Your nearness, and Your protection over each one, according to Your good will. Draw this family closer to You and to each other. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for family protection and for those silent requests you carry in your heart is heard, and we join you in bringing it before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

We are reminded that our God does not mock His children when they ask for good things. When you ask for bread He will not give a stone, for He delights to give good gifts to those who ask Him. Those silent petitions which you cannot utter aloud are known to Him fully, for He understands the burdens you bear even before you speak them.

Scripture assures us that He who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection. His promise is that He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. This protection is both personal and perpetual, yet it is promised to those who walk in His appointed ways, clinging to the truths He has taught us and abiding in Christ. As He entered into covenant with Noah to preserve him and his house and brought his whole family into the ark, so He is able to cover your household under the shadow of His wing.

You belong, if you are in Christ, to the whole family in heaven and earth, an undivided household whose Father never forgets one of His own. May He quicken your faith, keep your loved ones from evil, and guard your home by His gracious power. May family prayer be maintained and private prayer be diligently kept, trusting that all things are yours in Christ.

We pray now that the Lord will set His watch over your family, keep you from all harm, supply what is needed for body and soul, and answer those silent requests according to His perfect wisdom and love. May He grant you peace in knowing that you are kept in His hand, and may He lead your household ever nearer to Himself, for His glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
