Who Do You Trust
Now to him who is able to keep you from falling be glory, majesty, power, and authority . . . now and forever. (Jude 24-25)
Sometimes we go through hard times in life when it feels like God Himself has pulled the rug right out from under us. That’s when we look around and say, “What just happened?” When in reality we should put more trust in God and depend upon God’s grace. This said, sometimes trusting God can be difficult at best.
A look at scripture will give us a lot of encouragement to trust Him…
Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the Lord your God, and you will be established (2 Chronicles 20:20)
Indeed, we had the sentence of death within ourselves in order that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead. (2 Corinthians 1:9)
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and trust in the Lord. (Psalm 4:5)
Trust in the Lord forever, for in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock. (Isaiah 26:4)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. (Proverbs 3:5-7)
The benefits of trusting God are: Happiness, Deliverance, Success, God’s goodness, Loving-kindness, Provision, Blessings, Safety, Refuge, Guidance, and last but not least Inheritance.
“Trust In Him”
The Lord’s loving kindness never ceases and His compassions never fail... They are new every morning!
Have A Great God Day!
