Today's Encouraging Words

Thank God For The Small Things

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” (Job 12:7-10)

We have a great deal to learn from the creatures of our world. Do you have a pet if so; did you notice how they often get quiet and stare out the window as if they are relishing the wonders of God’s world? They sit completely still as if this is their quiet time; a time to be still, relax and relish their existence and their place on this earth. Just as God meets their needs, he will do the same for us if we just acknowledge him on a consistent basis.

Often we neglect to acknowledge the small things in life. When in reality we all need to find a quiet space in our busy day to gaze at God's wonderful creations and wallow in God's love, just like the animals of the world do!

Trust In Him

Ask the animals; they can tell you who God is!

Thank you Jesus for this wakeup to Your wonders. Thank you Lord for providing us with small miracles, small beautiful things and situations that can only come from Your hands, a sunset, a cool breeze, a twinkling star, so many things we should appreciate everyday, at every moment which we dont. Allow us Jesus, touch our hearts and minds so that each one of us can take a moment everyday to see, to apprecaite those beautiful things we take for granted. Let us Lord take the time to stop and thank You for these little things which make our lives better and happier, thank You Lord, in You we trust
