Today’s Encouraging Words
The Bread Of Life
9What profit hath he that worked in that wherein he labored? 10I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. 11He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end. 12I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.13And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.14I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. (Ecclesiastes 3:9-14)
Each day God gives us purpose, life, wisdom, power, and the spirit of Jesus Christ, which is more than we need to overcome the challenges of a day.
These things are available to us every day, whether we see it or not. And it is up to us to make the best of each new day and to remember to thank God in “all” things.
"Give us this day our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11). Jesus is the "bread of life" (John 6:35), as we pray for both spiritual and physical bread. In many ways we are like the Israelites who collected manna each day in the wilderness (Exodus 16:10-21.)… The story in Exodus tells us, manna grew moldy if it was kept… it had to be gathered each day for that day only.
In a similar way, we can't store up God's grace for tomorrow - but we do have it in abundance day by day!
Trust In Him
God gives us what we need, one day at a time!
Have A Great God Day!
