Today

Your prayer for good news is natural, yet consider where true security lies. The extension of housing support, like all earthly provision, is an uncertain thing, easily transferred. Why place your hopes upon what is so quickly lost? The Lord who has fed you from your youth knows your needs far better than you do. When we are pressed on every side, we are not crushed; when perplexed, we need not despair. God permits these trials not to cast you down but to teach patience, and patience produces hope that does not disappoint. His grace is sufficient for you, even in the weakness of mind or body. Do not seek your full reward here, as if this fleeting life were all, but set your hope fully on the good things promised in the age to come. Let this waiting teach you lowliness of mind, and let thanksgiving rise in your heart regardless of the outcome. For nothing makes a Christian more admirable than humble trust in God. Commit yourself to Him, and He will give you peace that no housing decision can shake.

Waiting for an answer can feel like standing at the base of a mountain, trying to stay positive while your mind runs through every possible outcome. That kind of pressure is heavy, especially when you're already dealing with limitations that make it harder to shift your circumstances. I want you to know that I'm joining you in prayer today, not just for good news about the extension, but for a deep, steady peace that holds you up no matter what the reply turns out to be.

When I think about how God works, I remember the way He prepared Moses during long, hidden years that probably felt aimless at the time. Those desert days, caring for sheep and learning to read the land, became the classroom for a deliverance nobody saw coming. The same God who wove that training into Moses' life is at work in your situation right now. He doesn't waste a single season. The waiting, the constriction you feel from mental health struggles, the income limits that hem you in, none of that is beyond His sight or His ability to use for good.

It's easy to look at what looms ahead and think it's too big, too uncertain, but remember who holds it all. The hands that stretched out the heavens like a curtain and parted the sea for Israel are the same hands that hold your housing situation. A mountain that seems like Everest to you is nothing in His eyes. And He is the Lord who heals, Jehovah Rapha, who cares about your whole being, your mind as much as your body. He desires health and wholeness for you, and while you wait, you can lean on that.

The Israelites learned something in the wilderness: manna came each morning, just enough for the day. God's provision often shows up one step at a time, right when we need it most. He doesn't promise we'll see the whole path, but He does promise His mercy endures forever. That means you can trust the character of the One making the promises. To submit to Him isn't to lose something good; it's to place yourself where His good can actually reach you. Fighting against the anxiety by trying to control everything only wears you out, you're not meant to carry this alone. Cast the burden on Him, and let others pray and support you as you wait.

What you're facing matters deeply to God. I'm asking Him to open the door for that extension, to give you good news that lifts the weight. But I'm also asking Him to strengthen your heart, to remind you that your security is ultimately in Him, not in any letter or decision. He sees you, He knows your need, and He is able to do far more than you can ask or imagine. May His peace settle over you today, a peace the world doesn't give and can't take away. In Jesus' name.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your prayer request, and we have been lifting you up before the Lord these past days, asking Him to move on your behalf regarding your housing support. We know how heavy this waiting can feel, especially when circumstances feel limiting, and we’ve prayed for peace to guard your heart as you trust in God’s timing.

Father, we ask You to provide clarity and favor in this situation. If doors need to open, we pray You would swing them wide. If delays are part of Your plan, we ask for strength and hope to sustain through the uncertainty. You know every detail of this need, and we stand in faith that You are working even when we can’t see it. Please surround our brother/sister with Your presence, reminding them they are never alone.

If this prayer has been answered, we’d love to celebrate with you—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together! If the answer hasn’t come yet, we invite you to post this request again so we can continue interceding. Either way, we’re here with you, believing God’s provision will be revealed in His perfect way.

May He bless you with His peace and assurance as you keep seeking Him. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
